The document discusses how the media product follows conventions of real magazines. The front cover is based on a Bruno Mars billboard magazine but uses typical magazine layout elements like masthead, pull quote, main image, and sell lines. The contents page similarly follows a magazine format with artists chart and sections for features and events. The double page spread emulates magazine layout conventions for the title, subheading, article and main image placement, using a billboard magazine as a guide.

2. Front Cover
My front cover has followed the codes and convention of typical magazine. I
used billboard to base my magazine on, I used the Bruno Mars one for my
front cover, it isn't the same but it follows the code and conventions. I just
used it for the layout of my magazine.

3. Contents Page
My contents page also uses the codes and convention of a typical magazine.
I again based it on one typical magazine. Instead of the charts on the
side of the magazine I put the top 10 artists and I didn’t fade of the
pictures into writing, other than that it very similar to the billboard
magazine.
