Martin Luther began the Protestant Reformation in 1517 by nailing his 95 Theses to the door of the castle church in Wittenberg, Germany. This document outlines five key doctrines of the Protestant Reformation: that salvation is by grace alone (Sola Gratia), through faith alone (Sola Fide), in Christ alone (Solus Christus), by Scripture alone (Sola Scriptura), and for the glory of God alone (Soli Deo Gloria). It provides biblical support for these doctrines and emphasizes that God alone reconciles us through his grace and promises.
