The issuesfacedbythe SivanandaHomes,Batucavesis the landscaping.There isabig land
that wasmeantto be a gardenbut isnow poorlymanagedandabandonedfora longtime.
Wildplantare growingeverywhereandthe soil isinfertile.Mr.Bala askedusto cleanthe
gardenarea so that we can start the new landscaping.We were askedbythe Mr. Bala to
designaplantingstructure thatsaveswaterand fertiliser.He alsoaskedfora banquettable
with seats at both sides. The orphanage has a lot of broken door, bed and window structures.
We hope thatwe can helphimtorepairand cleanup the orphanage forthe sake of the kids
and provide themwithamore comfortable livingenvironment.
The organisationneedsustohelpthemredesigntheirlandscape,buildaworkable garden
that saveswaterand fertiliser.A banquettable isalsoneededbythe orphanage toprovide
the childrenwithoutdooractivities.The orphanage alsoneedourhelpwithfixingthe
brokendoors,bedsandwindows.Estimateddurationneeded is5weeks.The service will be
done inSivanandaHome,BatuCaves.The childrenwill benefitthe mostfromoutwork.
Estimatedcost= RM 250.00. The environmentstrategieswill be beingable tosave and
reduce usage of material (eg.wood),save waterand alsofertiliser.
