The students of Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Eruvadi, Thirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu cleaned up their school campus which was previously very dirty with bushes and plastic waste. Under the guidance of their mentor teacher K. Thangavel, the students cleaned the campus in step 2. In step 3, they planted neem trees and watered the plants. In step 4, they formed a roadside garden to beautify the school atmosphere and create an eco-friendly space that provides clean oxygen.

- 2. As of now there are many abandoned land areas that are good site for agricultural garden. This activity helps to maintain and preserve our environment without the help of chemicals, it also helps in motivating our skills in gardening and at the same time a call to a healthier life in a sound environment.
- 3. The goal of my project is to develop the skills of my fellow youth in planting vegetables. This will also help in supplying fresh vegetables in our respective household rather than buying it in the supermarket. In addition, this will help encouraging my fellow young once to practice a healthy lifestyle by eating nutritious food rather than junk foods.
- 4. To achieve my goal in making a home gardening, I asked the member of my family to help and give support to my small project that I was task to do. We, then plan the ideal site by cleaning the area where we need to plant the seedlings.
- 5. 1. I requested seeds from the Local Government Unit of Tanauan through the Office of the Department of Agriculture. 2. I ask my family members cooperation and support. 3. On October11, 2012, we started to cultivate lands, we sprinkle seeds on the clean land. Within 15 days we observed and wait the seeds to grow up. 4. On October29, 2012 we made plots and started the transplanting of the seedlings. 5. We put fine net in every plot as protection against other predators that may harm my plot and my plants.
- 6. After my small project, I observed that the plants we planted had grow healthy and I am very grateful because this develops the interests of my other siblings to continue planting because this helps my family in terms of financial needs and I take the opportunity in thanking the six members of my family who helped me to make my garden a realization.
