The document discusses the relationship between history, prophecy, and God's plan for mankind. It argues that history focuses on God's dealings with humanity, not God himself. Prophecy reveals events before they occur from God's perspective, showing he knows the beginning and end. The "history as tape" analogy illustrates that prophecy allows glimpses of the future from our limited viewpoint, but God sees the full tape of events from creation to the new heaven and earth. Understanding prophecy provides clarity on life's purpose and humanity's destiny.

The document discusses arguments that are commonly made against the reliability and authenticity of the Bible. It addresses claims that the Bible was mistranslated and miscopied over time, casting doubt on what the original text said. However, the document provides counterarguments noting that we have early manuscripts and copies that allow scholars to determine what was in the original autographs. It also argues that the Bible contains historical details that have been confirmed by archaeological findings and extra-biblical sources, indicating it provides an accurate historical record. The document disputes the idea that biblical books were arbitrarily picked by a committee, stating that early Church fathers recognized the books based on factors like authorship and consistency with doctrine. It proposes evidence that parts of the Bible display supernatural

Class 5 of The Consummation.
This examines the most popular view of end times in the American evangelical church today, Dispensational Premillennialism. It gives a summary of it's views and critiques it.
The Gospel of John is unique among the gospels in its portrayal of Jesus as the divine Word of God. It contains many stories and details not found in the other gospels. Though traditionally attributed to the apostle John, questions remain about its actual authorship, as its theology appears more developed and it may incorporate several early sources. The structure and language of its poetic prologue establish Jesus' identity differently than the other gospels. The body of the gospel is divided into the revelation of Jesus' identity through his signs and teachings, his ministry to his disciples, and his suffering and glory.
The Gospel of John was traditionally written by John the Apostle around AD 90 in Ephesus. It focuses on establishing Jesus' divine nature and identity as the Son of God. The gospel contains seven "I am" statements where Jesus identifies himself as the bread of life, the light of the world, the gate/door, the good shepherd, the resurrection and the life, the way and the truth, and the true vine. The gospel emphasizes Jesus as the fulfillment of God's promises to Israel and the Savior of all humanity.
This document discusses the postmillennial view of eschatology. It believes that through the preaching of the gospel, the world will gradually Christianize to a point where evil is reduced and most of society lives according to Christian principles. At this point, Christ will return to a truly Christianized world. The document references several biblical passages like the Great Commission and Psalms that are used to support the victory of Christianity throughout the world. However, it also notes some criticisms of postmillennialism, like its interpretation of Revelation 20 and whether the current trends truly point to greater Christianization.
The document discusses the meaning of life, sin, and salvation through Jesus Christ. It notes that the average young person is career-focused, media-obsessed, and materialistic. It questions whether life holds only frustrations, failures, and disappointments. It explains that all humans are born sinful due to Adam's sin, and discusses the consequences of sin like being enemies of God. Finally, it presents Jesus as the sinless savior who died for humanity's sins and was resurrected, so that those who believe in him can be saved, forgiven, and granted eternal life.
Joseph, a member of the Jewish council who disagreed with the decision to crucify Jesus, asked Pilate for Jesus' body. He wrapped Jesus' body in linen cloth and placed it in his own tomb. Some women from Galilee saw where Joseph laid Jesus' body and then went home to prepare spices and perfumes, resting on the Sabbath as commanded.
This document discusses evidence for dating the Book of Acts in the late 1st century CE. It notes that Acts references Bernice's affair with Emperor Titus, which places the text no earlier than 69 CE. It also mentions a possible quote from Acts in a letter by Ignatius of Antioch around 100 CE. The document then examines similarities between events described in Acts and those written about by Josephus to argue Acts was written after Josephus' works in the late 1st century. Finally, it analyzes inconsistencies between Acts and Paul's letters that make it difficult to claim the author of Acts was a companion of Paul, dating the text more firmly in the late 1st century CE.
The document provides an overview and analysis of the Gospel of John. It notes that John was written later than the other gospels, around AD 90, and focuses on establishing Jesus as the Son of God through his "I am" statements and signs/miracles. John's purpose, according to 20:31, is to elicit belief that Jesus is the Christ and provide eternal life. The document examines stylistic differences between John and the other gospels and emphasizes themes of light, truth, and witnessing to Christ found in the prologue.
Adult immersion baptism - meaning and significanceNirmal Nathan
This document provides instruction about baptism based on passages from the Bible. It discusses that baptism involves fully immersing a disciple in water by an ordained servant of God or believer as a symbolic act of dying to sin and being reborn as a Christian. Baptism is meant to signify death, burial and resurrection with Christ and the beginning of a new life. It notes that while baptism is important, true repentance is also required for salvation. The document examines baptism in the Bible and different views throughout church history.

The document discusses the historical uses of the term "gospel" and its meaning in the Bible. It explores how the gospel was proclaimed by the Greeks after victories and by Caesar Augustus about his rule. The Bible defines the gospel as the good news about God's kingdom brought by Jesus, who died for sins and rose again. The gospel involves repenting from sin and believing in Jesus as Lord to enter God's kingdom. Jesus commissioned his followers to make disciples of all nations by proclaiming this gospel and teaching obedience to all his commands.
The document discusses evidence for Jesus' resurrection from the dead, beginning with the empty tomb on Easter morning. It notes that the tomb was found empty by women who encountered angels saying Jesus had risen, as was foretold. Several proofs of the empty tomb are discussed, including the intact burial cloths and Roman guards being bribed to spread a false story. The document argues this shows the disciples did not steal Jesus' body and provides evidence that he resurrected and appeared to his disciples for 40 days, establishing Christianity.
This document provides an overview of the basic contents and origins of the Bible. It discusses that the Bible is a collection of 66 books accepted as divinely inspired. It was written over 1500 years by around 40 authors from various backgrounds. The events primarily took place in the Middle East. Prophecies, historical accuracy, and scientific statements within the Bible provide evidence of its supernatural origin. The document outlines many of the human authors and approximate dates they wrote different books. It also summarizes some of the fulfilled prophecies as further proof of the Bible's divine authorship.

One of the greatest roadblocks to submission is overcoming your own “common sense”. Mary never expresses concern over her reputation or fear for her life, though it’s hard to imagine that these concerns did not go through her mind. Her response to Gabriel is “How will this be?” Mary demonstrates remarkable openness to the wonders of the incarnation.

True gospel 2: WHAT IS THE GOSPEL OF MESSIANIC KABBALAH WISDOM? It is the Mul...Lope Columna
This document introduces the concept of Messianic Kabbalah wisdom, which is described as a powerful wisdom revealed by God that can transform people, the world, and the universe. It is presented as the convergence of the wisdom and knowledge of Moses, Elijah, and Jesus Christ. The document claims this wisdom was revealed to a man in the Philippines and argues it is the missing dimension of understanding in mainstream Christianity, Judaism, and other religions. Adopting this wisdom is posited as the path to restoring creation to its original state before sin. Readers are encouraged to support the movement.
The document discusses systematic Christian theology and its importance in reinforcing commitment to Christian mission. It provides a definition of biblical Christianity as the dynamic missionary movement that dogmatically affirms the triune God and his revelation in scripture for the purpose of redeeming man from sin by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. It emphasizes that Christian theology must be viewed and interpreted through Christ, who is the center of biblical theology. It then gives an example of examining the doctrine of man through the lens of Christ's deity, incarnation, and righteousness.
This document is from the Linder Road Church of Christ and promotes an upcoming event from June 7-9 featuring Joe Brumfield. It emphasizes that Jesus answers mankind's deepest needs by reconciling them with God and solving the problems of sin and death. Having Jesus at the center of one's life is presented as the most hopeful option both in this life and beyond.
This document discusses the importance of studying biblical prophecy. It argues that prophecy authenticates the Bible by fulfilling prophecies about Jesus, assists in spreading the gospel by pointing to Jesus, and encourages holy living by reminding Christians of Jesus' promised return. It acknowledges prophecy is often mocked but says Christians should endure this as Jesus did. Studying prophecy leads to rewards like understanding God's plans and earning a crown of righteousness.

This document discusses a biblical perspective on the concept of "woke" by analyzing the story of Jesus healing a blind man in the Gospel of John. It draws several parallels between that story and modern woke ideology. The key events in the story include Jesus healing a blind man, witnesses reporting it to the Pharisees, and the Pharisees interrogating those involved. The document argues that just as the Pharisees in the story were "blind" and resisted the miracle, modern woke adherents are similarly resistant to alternatives to their ideology. It uses several biblical examples to illustrate how spiritual blindness is portrayed.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375
The Book of Ruth is included in the third division, or the Writings, of the Hebrew Bible. In most Christian canons it is treated as one of the historical books and placed between Judges and 1 Samuel.

SETTING THE STAGE
MATURE IN CHRIST MINISTRIES
IS HISTORY IMPORTANT?
• YES INDEED !!!
• IT IS ESSENTIAL TO UNDERSTAND GOD, MAN, AND LIFE
• WHY?
• WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH PROPHECY?
WHAT IS HISTORY ?
MATURE IN CHRIST MINISTRIES
History is not about GOD
The Bible is not About GOD
Both are specifically about US!
Yes! It’s all about Man–kind
True – It is about God’s dealing with and plan for man , but man is the focus!
Oddly, most think that the Bible is about God. It is true that we gain great insight about GOD.
He does reveal himself within it’s pages. Yet, It is not written as a essay on HIM, but on His
dealings with US!

The events of mankind on earth
God reveals His nature and character
More importantly His will and purpose for man-kind
God has neither beginning or ending
History has both. Genesis tells us how we began and
Revelations how we end.
The Bible is the history of man on earth
When we are no longer on this earth and when this earth
is destroyed and remade – History will cease.
MATURE IN CHRIST MINISTRIES
PROPHECY IS HISTORY
KNOWN TO GOD BUT NOT YET REALIZED AND EXPERIENCED BY US.
TO US THE FUTURE IS AN UNKNOWN AND UNWRITTEN.
TO GOD – IT IS LIKE IT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED!
BIBLICAL PROPHESY THEREFORE CAN BE TRUSTED. IT IS WHAT SEPARATES CHRISTIANITY FROM ALL RELIGIONS

END OF TIME
New Heaven and New Earth
After the final Judgement .
God will recreate Heaven and
Earth. This earth will be done.
Therefore, History will be
completed. All prophecy will
cease. Why?
Eternity future without end!
MATURE IN CHRIST MINISTRIES
Prophecy is indeed history from God’s viewpoint. He knows and sees the beginning just as clear as
He knows and sees the end. Biblical prophecy is God giving us a glimpse into the future. God is
letting us in on the history that from our standpoint, has not yet occurred.
By doing so, He shows himself as all knowing, all powerful, and true. His 100% accuracy shows
that he is the only one true living God. Prophecy becomes a powerful witnessing tool. Prophecy
provides believer’s with hope and assurance regarding our future.
The History as Tape Analogy has hopefully been a simple way to show that ;
1) Prophecy is history not yet experienced by us, but known by God.
2) History is only about the history of man on earth.
3) When this earth is over and God’s test for man is complete, History is over!
