SOS GRAMMAR
A pronoun is a word
that takes the place
of one or more
nouns.
A subject pronoun is used as the subjecof a
sentence.
She is my best friend.
It is my dog.
Does he know the answer?
You and I will do the exercise.
He will be here next year.
An object pronoun is used as the
direct/indirect object or the object of a
preposition.
Give me the book.
Give the book to me.
She loves him.
He loves us.
Will he help them?

Possessive Pronouns are pronouns which
show ownership. Something belongs to
someone.
Adjective Pronouns describe the noun.
Possessive Pronouns take place of the noun.
Adjective: My book is on the table.
Possessive: Mine is on the table.
Adjective: Your car is green.
Possevive: Yours is green.
Adjective: These are our pencils.
Possessive: These are ours.

 They are used when the subject and the
object are the same person or thing.
 They are generally preceded by certain verbs,

 They are also used when we want to
emphasize the person who does the action.
