Neuromarketing includes the direct use of brain imaging, scanning, or other
brain activity measurement technology to measure a subject’s response to
specific products, packaging, advertising, or other marketing elements.
Neuromarketing
Neuromarketing is a new field of marketing which uses medical technologies such
as functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) to study the brain’s responses to
marketing stimuli. Researchers use the fMRI to measure changes in activity in parts
of the brain and to learn why consumers make the decisions they do, and what part
of the brain is telling them to do it…
Marketing analysts will use neuromarketing to better measure a consumer’s
preference, as the verbal response given to the question “Do you like this product?”
may not always be the true answer. This knowledge will help marketers create
products and services designed more effectively and marketing campaigns focused
more on the brain’s response.
Neuromarketing will tell the marketer what the consumer reacts to, whether it is the
color of the packaging, the sound the box makes when shaken, or the idea they will
have something their co-consumers do not.
Green Marketing
Green marketing refers to the process of promoting products or services based
on their environmental benefits. Such a product or service may be
environmentally friendly in itself or produced in an environmentally friendly way.
1. Manufactured in a sustainable fashion
2. Not containing toxic materials or ozone-depleting substances
3. Produced from recycled materials and/or able to be recycled
4. Made from renewable materials (such as bamboo, etc.)
5. Not making use of excessive packaging
6. Designed to be repairable and not "throwaway"
The key barrier to sustainable business practices such as green procurement is the
short-term cost. Going green will typically cost you more up front, but generate great
rewards in the long run.
A previous Nielsen survey also looked at retail purchase statistics, and according to
sales data, brands that advertised sustainability on their packaging had 2%
year-over-year increases in sales from 2011 to 2014, as compared with 1% for those
that did not. Brands that promoted acting sustainability through their marketing saw a
sales increase of 5%.
Engagement
Marketing
Experiential marketing, sometimes called " engagement marketing", "event
marketing", "on-ground marketing", "live marketing", "participation
marketing", "Loyalty Marketing", or "special events" is a marketing strategy
that directly engages consumers and invites and encourages them to participate
in the evolution of a brand or a brand experience.
Experiential marketing is a marketing strategy to engage the consumers directly
and invite them to be a participant in the evolution of the brand or a brand
experience.
It differs from traditional marketing in the following ways:
● It is focused on providing values to the consumer that are sensory,
emotional, and cognitive.
● It’s objective is to create synergy between the brand’s meaning, perception,
loyalty, and consumption.
● It requires a wide range of research methods in order to get a fair
understanding of the consumer profiles.
Internet
Marketing
Digital marketing is the component of marketing that utilizes internet and
online based digital technologies such as desktop computers, mobile
phones and other digital media and platforms to promote products and
services.
Its development during the 1990s and 2000s, changed the way brands and
businesses use technology for marketing.
As digital platforms became increasingly incorporated into marketing plans and
everyday life, and as people increasingly use digital devices instead of visiting
physical shops, digital marketing campaigns have become prevalent, employing
combinations of
1. search engine optimization (SEO), 2. search engine marketing (SEM),
3. content marketing, 4. influencer marketing,
5. content automation, 6. campaign marketing,
7. data-driven marketing, 8. e-commerce marketing,
9. social media marketing, 10. social media optimization,
11. e-mail direct marketing, 12 display advertising,
13. e–books, games have become commonplace and many more .
Social Media
Social media marketing is the use of social media platforms to connect with
your audience to build your brand, increase sales, and drive website traffic.
This involves publishing great content on your social media profiles, listening
to and engaging your followers, analyzing your results, and running social
media advertisements.
The major social media platforms (at the moment) are Facebook, Instagram,
TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and Snapchat.
Social media marketing can help with a number of goals, such as:
● Increasing website traffic
● Building conversions
● Raising brand awareness
● Creating a brand identity and positive brand association
● Improving communication and interaction with key audiences
The bigger and more engaged your audience is on social media networks, the
easier it will be for you to achieve every other marketing goal on your list.
Promotion On Social Media is very a good way to reach new audience and is much
cheaper than any other platform online. Companies can target a specific audience,
target location, Minimum daily budget, and many more.

CONSUMERS VS PROSUMER – DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN CONSUMERS AND PROSUMERS
The term prosumer is an amalgamation of terms producer and consumer. A
prosumer is a person who consumes as well as produces a product.
Now what is that?
That means these people are not only consuming a product but also talking
about the products on various internet platforms. Their voices play a significant
role in the failure or success of a product or a business.
● How a prosumer can impact your business?
1. A prosumer can promote your product
2. A prosumer can help you in boosting the sales of your product
3. A prosumer can build or destroy the image of a product
4. People check their reviews before making a purchase decision
5. Helps people to become smart consumers
● How to make the use of prosumers to promote your products?
Step 1. Find out the popular influencers on the Internet:
Step 2. Research about them and learn how they work to promote products:
Step 3. Contact these influencers:
Step 4. Build a relationship with them:
Step 5. Ask them to promote your product:
A Brand Manager is responsible for adapting a brand strategy for a
company's target market.
As the 'brand guardian', brand managers maintain brand integrity across
all company marketing initiatives and communications, and may
manage a portfolio of products.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF A BRAND
MANAGER?
Role of a brand manager
1. Design the brand name and identity
2. Learn about the current and future market trends
3. Communicate with different departments
4. Keeping an eye on the business strategies of other brands
5. Protect the image of the brand
6. Communicate with different marketing and advertising agencies
7. Plays an essential role in top management
8. Manages budget for marketing and advertising
9. Perform a key role in creating business opportunities
10. Communication with consumers
This are some of the example of role of a brand manager.
4 WAYS TO USE BIG DATA IN MARKETING
When you examine such a large amount of data on the computation
level, it is referred to as big data.
With the increase in targeted marketing, big data is more vital than ever.
Not only it allows you to target the right kind of audience but it allows
you to do it convincingly as well. In this article, I have mentioned a few
ways in which you can use big data in your marketing for better results.
1. Monitor Google Trends to Inform Your Global/Local Strategy
2. Use Digital Information to More Clearly Define Your ICP
3. Create Real-Time Personalization to Buyers
4. Identify the Specific Content that Moves Buyers Down the Sales Funnel
5. Integrate Predictive Analytics Into Your Lead Scoring Strategy
It would not be wrong to say that we are living in the golden age of access
to information. The amount of data to which a common man has access to
these days was never possible in the past. When you have that much data lying
in front of you the possibilities are endless. You can use that data to uncover
hidden truths, read patterns and find correlations and use that data in
Marketing.
WHAT IS REMARKETING? TYPES,
STRATEGIES AND PURPOSE
Remarketing targets customers who initially visited your website to view
something and shown interest in your products but did not make the
purchase. It is also known as ‘Retargeting’.
It involves designing personalized ad campaigns or display ads in general.
The basic concept consists of reaching out to those customers who are
already aware of your brand name. These customers are more likely to
complete the purchase on the website. This, in turn, increases the chances of
conversion and thus (ROI) returns on investment.
javascript tag or a pixel or a small snippet of code is used to place a cookie in the
user’s browser.Cokie is a small code used by the web browser to store data
about websites.Remarketing platform is then informed by this cookie to display
specific ads through an ad exchange. These ads are based on the web pages, or
the products searched by the user on the given website or app.
How does remarketing work?
1. Knowing the pages, you want to tag for remarketing
2. Make exclusive and personalized deals to your retargeting customers
3. Decide the time limit to follow your visitors with the remarketing ads
4. Target your post-conversion customers
5. Use broader keywords 6. Monitor and make adjustments as needed
MARKETING AUTOMATION: WHAT IS IT FOR?
Marketing automation is a software platform that streamlines,
automates, and measures marketing tasks and workflows. This allows
you to be more efficient, increase revenue and grow into a more
powerful marketing team.
In simple Marketing automation is a platform where u can set number of
things that are done automatically by robots in replacement of humans.
Some of the most common features of marketing automation tools are: mass
mailing messages to emails, management and design of landing pages, forms
design, CTA, capture leads, lead nurturing, lead scoring, centralized database,
integration CRM, customer service chatbots, analytics and reports. Do you still
doubt its importance? Let’s see more examples:
Ø Platforms to do marketing automation
1. HubSpot 2. ActiveCampaign
3. Pardot 4. Marketo
5. Traffic attraction 6. Analysis of result
7. Lead acquisition and management
This are some tools marketers can use for automation.
NICHE MARKETING – DEFINITION,
MEANING, ADVANTAGES, IDEAS
A niche market is the subset of the market on which a specific product
is focused. The market niche defines the product features aimed at
satisfying specific market needs, as well as the price range, production
quality and the demographics that it is intended to target. It is also a
small market segment.
Advantages of niche marketing
1. Lowered competition 2. Improved relationship with customers:
3. The benefit of word of mouth praise: 4. Improved presence in the market
5. Effective use of resources 6. Chance to become a pioneer
7. Increased business opportunities 8. Gain loyalty of customers
9. Less expensive: 10. Improved Goodwill of the company 11. Lower risk of failure
Ideas for Niche marketing
1. Learn the needs of your customers 2. Invest in Pay per click marketing
3. Focus on word of mouth 4. Grab new business opportunities
5. Observe what other companies are doing.
TEST MARKETING – INTRODUCTION,
BENEFITS AND DISADVANTAGES
To check the viability of any product or campaign before its actual launch in the
target market or mass market, Test Marketing is used.
Test Marketing, precisely, is a trial before launching a product on a grand
platform.
It is about releasing it in front of a specific audience. This tool is used to check
the essence of the new product or a campaign before releasing it in the market on a
large scale.
Benefits
We should be particular about things before launching it on a larger scale.
The test marketing can help you create a promotional “buzz” which supports the
main release. It reduces the risk of a full-scale launch. Even if the product fails a
test, then particular costs may be saved.
Also, test marketing provides you with a way to grasp the knowledge of customer
reviews. It will help you to rethink if you should add something more or your product
is exceptional.
Disadvantages
Since you do not include the full target range, it cannot give appropriate
information. It also has a danger of competition. The competitor can learn about
your product and come up with the same even before your full launch. It is also
time-consuming. It might be costly, as well.
THE FIVE PILLARS OF A SUCCESSFUL
DIGITAL REACH STRATEGY
Creating a digital reach strategy can help promote customer satisfaction,
increase awareness, future-proof businesses, and growth. Here, I’ll look
at the initial five pillars of digital reach that any business involved in
digital marketing should be paying attention to: speed, findability,
accessibility, privacy, and consistency.
Pillars of a Successful Digital Reach Strategy
1.Speed: When it come to website speed it should be very fast as search engines
like fast website for ranking
2.Findability: When a person search for your company it should be visible to that
person on search engine first page
3.Accessibility: The website should be user friendly
4.Privacy: One company should not use privacy of one person for other use so that
it will affect the person in personal
5.Brand Consistency: Brand consistency is the delivery of brand messaging in line
with the brand identity, values, and strategy over time.
VIRAL MARKETING –
YOUR 6 STEPS TO
SUCCESS!
Viral marketing or viral advertising is a business strategy that uses
existing social networks to promote a product. Its name refers to how
consumers spread information about a product with other people, much
in the same way that a virus spreads from one person to another.
How to get viral
1. Social Currency – Make your audience feel remarkable!
2. Triggers – Give them a reason to remember you!
3. Emotion – when the audience feels for it, they share it!
4. Public – what is seen, is what is sold!
5. Practical Value – Your content has to be useful for consumers.
6. Stories – People love stories, not your products.
Viral Marketing Advantages
● Low cost:
● Reach:
● Credibility:
BRANDS AGAINST
COVID-19
Brands can play an active and engaging role in pushing these
messages, aiding the warnings and guidelines laid out by the
government. Brands have a massive following and we can use this in a
good way to spread these messages.
A joint collaboration between Brand Equity and The Bombay Creative
Company, - a company that believes in creating iconic work for iconic brands -
we have used the most iconic brands with a loyal fan base to deliver the
messages in a witty and clever way. Imagine how many people we will be able
to reach if we all do this together. Because in this fight every little helps.
We would urge the brands to broadcast these refreshing messages from their
own social media if they so desire. Even if it is only for a day. Because the fight
is long. But it's important that we win it. This is the time for advertising to play a
bigger role. Because only if humanity survives, then the brands will have a
future too.

  • 14. Neuromarketing is a new field of marketing which uses medical technologies such as functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) to study the brain’s responses to marketing stimuli. Researchers use the fMRI to measure changes in activity in parts of the brain and to learn why consumers make the decisions they do, and what part of the brain is telling them to do it… Marketing analysts will use neuromarketing to better measure a consumer’s preference, as the verbal response given to the question “Do you like this product?” may not always be the true answer. This knowledge will help marketers create products and services designed more effectively and marketing campaigns focused more on the brain’s response. • 43. A joint collaboration between Brand Equity and The Bombay Creative Company, - a company that believes in creating iconic work for iconic brands - we have used the most iconic brands with a loyal fan base to deliver the messages in a witty and clever way. Imagine how many people we will be able to reach if we all do this together. Because in this fight every little helps. We would urge the brands to broadcast these refreshing messages from their own social media if they so desire. Even if it is only for a day. Because the fight is long. But it's important that we win it. This is the time for advertising to play a bigger role. Because only if humanity survives, then the brands will have a future too.
