This document describes a fingerprint-based door access system using an Arduino. The system uses a fingerprint sensor integrated into the door to identify users and an Arduino microcontroller to control door locks/latches. If a matching fingerprint is detected, the microcontroller will unlock the door. If an unknown fingerprint is detected multiple times, the system will alert the owner and enter a secure mode. The system provides secure access control but has the disadvantage of higher cost compared to traditional locks.
