Groups of students will research current jobs and how they may evolve in the future. They will create a new job and write a 5-page composition defining it. Students will then create an oral presentation as a group to present their new job idea to community leaders. The project aims to have students think creatively about how technology could change future jobs and demonstrate their presentation, research, and collaboration skills.

He discussed how education research creates a "softer" form of knowledge than natural sciences due to human unpredictability. He explained challenges with determining cause-and-effect and how single studies don't define fields. Bokhove also emphasized accounting for context and definitions when measuring concepts. The key takeaways are that education research has its own strengths; correlation doesn't imply causation; one study doesn't negate others; context is important; and measurement requires understanding what is being measured.

The eight fundamental steps to developing a project include defining a theme, determining the final outcome, structuring the project, identifying language skills needed, gathering information, compiling and analyzing information, presenting the final product, and evaluating the project.

We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
