1. Commute to and from Client site (Columbia, MD) 
2. Thorough knowledge of and compliance with company procedures and 
standards 
3. Prepare, develop, and edit, under the guidance of the project manger, 
drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design 
4. Support the planning, coordination, programming, design, engineering, 
and construction of projects 
5. Consistently pursue on-time completion within budget through stages of 
the project 
6. Conduct field surveys and organize acquired documentation 
7. Support the Project Architect in completing building permits applications 
and obtains building permits 
8. Support the review and approval of architectural designs and specifications 
developed by project technical staff and other organizations (i.e., 
consultants, agencies, private developers) for construction 
9. Assist with preparations of bid documents and requests for proposals 
10. Format detailed cost estimates
Key job qualifications for project architect 
1. Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture. 
2. Architectural license required. 
3. Minimum 8 years’ experience as an architect. 
4. Thorough knowledge of construction materials, standards and codes. 
5. AutoCAD, and Revit proficiency required; hand sketching ability a plus. 
6. Minimum two years previous supervisory and personnel management 
desired. May be required depending upon assignment. 
7. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; both verbally and in 
writing. 
8. Demonstrated ability to effectively create presentations and communicate 
concepts to clients and associates using various software applications. 
9. Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. 
10. Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail.
