My name is Danny Cowan and I am a student at
Full Sail University majoring in Sports Marketing
and Media. I‘m a firm believer that most things
can be explained with science and math. I have
an intense interest in the business of sports, and
truly enjoy it within the lens of statistics; from the
very basic, to the most specific. I also believe
that you must surround yourself with the right
people in your industry who are experienced,
knowledgeable, and open-minded.

GOALS
Short Term: By the time I graduate, I would like to
operate a website or Twitter page which focuses on
statistics in sports, most likely basketball. I would try to
get it up and running by December 31st, 2023, a bit
before I graduate.
Mid Term: by the end of 2025, my goal is to intern for
any professional sports team, specifically an NBA team.
I would like to intern just to get experience working for a
professional team. My other goal is to get 10,000
Twitter followers, so enough people will know about me
and my work that someone in the NBA will notice me.
Long Term: I would like to achieve my dream job of
working full time for an NBA team by 2027, before the
2030-31 NBA season starts, working in their analytical
department as a data analyst.

You know how I can help your team can get better? Well, what I do is provide an
analytical approach using statistics and data to make teams smarter, and
therefore better. In fact, most professional sports teams that have won
championships recently have been analytically minded, such as the Los Angeles
Dodgers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Golden State Warriors.

I have an intense interest in the business of sports, and truly enjoy it within the lens of statistics; from the very basic, to the most specific.   • 5. GOALS Short Term: By the time I graduate, I would like to operate a website or Twitter page which focuses on statistics in sports, most likely basketball. I would try to get it up and running by December 31st, 2023, a bit before I graduate. Mid Term: by the end of 2025, my goal is to intern for any professional sports team, specifically an NBA team. I would like to intern just to get experience working for a professional team. My other goal is to get 10,000 Twitter followers, so enough people will know about me and my work that someone in the NBA will notice me. Long Term: I would like to achieve my dream job of working full time for an NBA team by 2027, before the 2030-31 NBA season starts, working in their analytical department as a data analyst.
