Luke Nicholson describes his process for making YouTube videos. He records gameplay footage and adds voiceovers telling a story or commenting on the game. He edits the footage together with effects, transitions, and music. Finally, he creates a thumbnail, title, and description to promote the completed video. For his final product, he will focus on telling an engaging story through voiceovers during the gameplay, and creating enjoyable content for viewers.

• I used my previous
knowledge on

my free time when I
was bored). As well
as my YouTube
channel which I can
use to refer to when
I need inspiration

me playing a game

I want). I then
proceeded to talk
about something I
found funny/cared
for. Or I talked about
the game, maybe
not saying anything.

be told whilst the

• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– I would include the story telling within the video
as well as some music, I would spend a decent
amount of time making a script that seems natural
that tells a story of some sort of downfall or
something that would interest the audience to
watch more or to the end of the story as well as
making some enjoyable content for people to
watch if they are not there for the story
