The photograph shows either four young boys riding bikes and saluting, or a group of soldiers in uniform in a hot location. It may depict politicians pouring out a liquid as civilians look unhappy. The photographer was likely trying to convey soldiers unwinding in the heat, or expressing life during prohibition when politicians dumped alcohol. The photo raises questions about the identities and activities of those depicted, and finding more information could involve researching the bikes, weapons, war, or prohibition details.

shirts are off and they are all dressed in uniform. It gives the impression they are troops.
3. The politicians seem to be pouring out some kind of liquid and the civilians do not look happy.
What message do you think the photographer was trying to convey?
1. I think the photographer was trying to convey that
2. That it was hot where they were at and everyone was just trying to unwind a little bit.

because a black man is a troop also, so yes I think it is important to history.
3. If it was during the prohibition then it shows how people acted and reacted to it.
What questions does this photograph raise?
1. Who are the boys? What are they doing? How old are they? Where are they from?
2. Who are the soldiers? What weapons are they using? Where are they at? How long have they
been there? How long do they have left?

1. “Four boys riding bikes doing the job they were sent out to do.”
2. “A group of soldiers trying to unwind after a hot day”
3. “ So long alcohol!”

picture taken?
2. You could look up the weapons? What war started to allow African American troops? Where were
they? You could Google the image? What weapons were they using? When did those weapons start
being used?

the prohibition?
