Where Should the Dreamers Go?
The solution to the Dreamers situation is complicated and has caused a lot of controversy
among people. However, the answer to the situation is easy punish the parents who brought their
children in don’t punish the children. The solution seems impossible, right? The reason that the parents
should be punished because they knew that their children may not be accepted and the country may
not want them but they brought them into the United States anyways. The children are left defenseless
and have no say in the matter what so ever they should not be punished for it. The children that were
brought into the country have high aspirations now. They should be allowed to fulfill those dreams. The
children may not legally be Americans but they were raised as one. They should not be kicked out of the
country for it. They should be given the opportunity to fulfill those dreams. Now every dreamer won’t
become scholars and some will be strung out on drugs but that is no different than the American
citizens today, but those dreamers are treated differently because legally they aren’t citizens. That’s a
bunch of judgmental bull, it needs to stop. The parents or legal guardians should be punished for
bringing them over, the children should not be punished. Do not punish the children, let them make
something of themselves. Stop stereo-typing them there are American citizens who act the same way
they do, the judging needs to stop. People need to think realistically about it.
