1) The people in the photograph are children in Germany.
2) The children are possibly riding their bikes from or to school in Germany. I’m assuming
they’re from Germany because they are holding their arm out as Hitler instructed his
soldiers. They have on what looks like school uniforms.

place and the effects they had on the children.
4) The photograph shows what life was like when Hitler was in power and the effects on the
children.

2) The men seem to be off duty and relaxing while off at war. Some men are smiling.

1) The people in the photograph are poor and wealthy individuals in a town. They seem to
be all men.
2) They are pouring a liquid out of jugs into a street drain.My first guess is that the liquid is
alcohol.
3) The photographer could be trying to show a historical event happening in the town.
4) This is important to history because it shows how modern life has evolved.
5) Who are the men in suits? Where is the photograph taken? When was this photograph
taken? What is in the jugs? Why are they pouring liquid out of jugs? Who is taking the
photograph?

8) It seems to be some type of town event. Some men in the photograph are happy since
they are smiling. The men wearing suits are wealthier than some other men in the
photograph.

3) The photographer could have been showing stereotypical roles by showing women
cooking in the kitchen.

evolved.

1) The people in the photograph are African American citizens, white police officers, and
police dogs.
2) There seems to be a riot which is possibly about civil rights and racism. The police dogs
are attacking the African American citizens.
3) The photographer is showing the era when African Americans didn’t have rights.
4) It captures an important time period when the issue of civil rights was in effect.
5) What led to the riot? Who’s taking the picture? Why are the police putting the dogs on
the African Americans?

8) This is the civil rights era. This is more than likely down south. Citizens are being
arrested.

1) The people in this photograph are the Statue of Liberty and an African American man.
2) The African American man is hanging from the Statue of Liberty.
3) The photographer is showing the effects of the civil rights time period. If the
photographer was racist, it could mean that there is no rights for African Americans nor is
there freedom for them. If the photographer was not racist, it could be a statement that we
need to make equal rights no matter what color because this was the harshness of life at
that time.

7) I could research what exact time in history this was and also research the artist since this
looks like a painting.
8) An African American is hanging from the Statue of Liberty. African Americans still
weren’t equal when this photo was drawn. A civil rights supporter drew this.

1) The people in the photograph are a family consisting of a mother, father, and a small son.
They are possibly immigrants.
2) The boy is pointing at the Statue of Liberty. The view that they see is possibly from them
coming to America from another country. This could be viewing this for the first time.
3) The photographer could be trying to say that it’s their first glimpse of freedom as they
arrive to their new home.
4) It shows that this was an opportunity for a lot of people and was a chance for them to
finally have something of their own.

individuals.

inspected? Where are they?

7) I could do research on when exactly electric fans were invented.

looks warm as there are windows open.
