1. Process Specialist mentors a team of 15 to 18 staff in providing accurate, reliable & timely financial data
and/or quantitative financial market data. Is directly responsible for output of the team. Ensures
timeliness, accuracy and coverage of team production and compliance. Imparts technical/content
training to the team, Identifies process/tool enhancement initiatives and liaise with technology team for
development and implementation.
Motivates the team and promotes team values of efficiency, productivity, quality and teamwork. Serves
as escalation point for complex data-related queries and production and technical issues and
Collaborate with QC/QA Analysts in streamlining quality feedback and optimize operational Output
Identifies and recommends new sources to Content Operations group and works with
Document Acquisition group for approval of new data source, Coordinates activities designed to train,
develop and enhance team performance
Does administrative work in managing the team including performance management. Performs other
duties from time to time that may be assigned by Management
Fully knowledgeable in all content sources used and data sets covered (may deal with a single data set),
Spot check / detailed reviews of companies updated by RA / SRA and provide qualitative feedback.
Process Specialist Team is responsible in monitoring, reporting, and evaluating the accuracy of the data
produced by Equity Research analysts, as well as coaching and guiding the analysts to help their
understanding of data, and recommending corrective action where required.
Assist the members of ER group RAs by answering their content collection queries.
Pro-actively identify areas where quality concerns are apparent within the team and share with
respective TLs.
Ensure that team members acquire full understanding of any existing policies and policy changes
through coaching and training. Review quality audit reports, query statistics or other feedback on quality
initiatives, conduct deep dive analysis of errors and implement corrective actions where necessary. Help
with the creation of process/content/training documentation as required.
Prioritize queries raised by newly qualified trainees within the group to help them reach prescribed
accuracy levels within 3 months of their joining the teams.
Conduct huddles and attend other ER team's discussions to transfer new knowledge and to ensure
understanding of collection policy statements are the same across all markets.
Interact with other content sets on technical/process concerns to help mitigate the issues.
Ensure open and regular communication with Operations so that I am up-to-date by understanding of
the overall collection process to meet their requirements.
2. Provide back-up to team mates during their leave of absence and assist team AM to carry on the day-to-
day activities of the team.
