Fixing the Broken Promise of eProcurement Tradeshift
For the last 15 years, eProcurement software has done the same things but promised different results. Companies are spending their resources trying (and failing) to enforce top down processes and bring more spend under management. The tools used today are about limitations. We think it’s time to change that and solve the unfulfilled promise of eProcurement.
We believe eProcurement should enable:
- Accurate products and services from ALL your suppliers
- A collaborative and easy buying experience
- The freedom to buy anywhere
- Connected end-to-end processes
- A comprehensive solution for ALL your spend
Fact or Fiction – You Can Manage All Your Supplier Information, Transactions ...Tradeshift
Five or six years ago this would have been fiction hands down, and for many companies now, it might as well be. Using multiple disconnected systems, or manual methods, to manage suppliers and all their information, including invoices, purchase orders, and supply chain risk has been the norm. Doing things this way created a bevy of challenges and limitations—information silos, exposure to risk and overall lack of visibility into supplier relationships.
What if you could onboard your suppliers once for procure-to-pay transactions, and in the same place manage supplier master data, plus have access to real-time information helping you to mitigate your supply chain risk?
This webinar with Tradeshift and Riskmethods discusses how to:
Connect to all your suppliers and from one place
Consolidate all supplier related processes and information
Protect your organization from supply chain disruptions and risky suppliers
Get transparency into potential risks across your supply chain
Actually achieve high adoption among internal users and suppliers.
Case Study on Driving Procure to Pay (Purchase to Pay) Quick WinsChazey Partners
The Procure-to-Pat (Purchase to Pay or P2P) process offers great opportunities for improvement, especially in companies that are decentralized, still paper-based, and lacking standardization. This case study illustrates how a global financial services company significantly improved vendor satisfaction as a result of a focused re-evaluation of the end-to-end process.

Boost your bottom line and supply chain healthTradeshift
Global supply chains are treasure troves of working capital, but that cash flow often stagnates in the pipeline. Research shows that one proven way to free up stuck capital is by optimizing payables performance: when you optimize payables, you see higher returns and suppliers get paid quicker.
In 45 minutes, you’ll learn how to:
- Increase EBITDA while removing risk from your supply chain
- Implement a win-win approach to Dynamic Discounting, with 5 “must haves” for a successful early payment program
- Support and strengthen your supply chain simply and collaboratively

Building Your Business Case for P2P AutomationTradeshift
Surveys have found that it often takes much longer to get approval for a project than it takes to implement the project once approved. Key to getting approval is putting together a document that provides compelling arguments for approval as well as making sure the appropriate people are involved in the approval process.
This is especially true for the procure-to-pay process, a notoriously difficult area to make a business case that accurately communicates the value of a P2P transformation. Fortunately, Jon Casher, a leading expert in the Procure-to-Pay and accounts payable will be providing some great insights.
During this webinar you will learn:
-Why you need a business case and what to include
-What needs to be done before putting together your business case
-How to identify the roles and responsibilities of the people involved in the approval process
-Resources to draw on to make the case
-Getting approval and ensuring success
The P2P landscape is changing. The significant developments in technology that have been widely adopted in B2C environments are now changing the game in B2B environments and shared services.
The way businesses buy, pay, manage data, and leverage increasingly agile technology is changing in P2P.
In 2016 P2P organizations are going beyond transactional cost and concentrate on supporting the overall enterprise objectives: digitalization of information, process automation but also internal customer centricity and a balanced efficiency/risk/control approach are key practices in this new era.

This report examines options for procure-to-pay operations with a focus on improving Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process through a transformational approach that meets an organization’s procure-to-pay operations objectives. Accounts Payable (AP) has proven to be extremely effective in a shared services model but efficiencies are largely dependent on upstream supply chain processes. When leading shared services operations look for performance improvements or cost reductions in AP, they are forced to evaluate the entire P2P process to identify savings opportunities.
“How P2P Fits Within an Enterprise Supply Chain” is the second topic of a supply chain learning series presented by ScottMadden and Shared Services & Outsourcing Network (SSON). In this session, we focus on the key attributes of a successful P2P transformation and the role technology plays in enabling the capture of the synergies and savings associated with P2P in a shared services delivery model.

Flexible Cloud-Based Application Management
For today's companies, scaling operational skills and resources in line with business expansion is a constant challenge. The Cloud can offer greater application flexibility, but traditional application management models focus on stability, fixed capacity and service-level agreements, all of which are not conducive to cloud-based environments. In addition, operational support structures are commonly static and not designed for accelerated response times and dynamic changes.
A cloud-based support environment can help your company change and innovate quickly to meet your business needs.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

14. Top Action Items for Starting a COE
8/9/2010
14
1. Partner with business lines looked upon as thought leaders within the
company
Accelerates momentum and awareness
2. Act as the facilitator and not the owner. Build the forum and framework

towards adoption
Facilitate the knowledge transfer that empowers the business to do
the “heavy lifting”
3. Identify internal success stories that can be shared. They are much

4. Look for change events to accelerate adoption of business process
management disciplines and technologies
Merger with Wachovia, Legacy system migration, other
