Procedures for Classroom
1) Entering the class. Enter the class quietly through the front door, sit in your assigned seat, and do the warm
up work (either the questions on the board or worksheet on my desk). If need be, sharpen the pencil before
      sitting at your desk.

2) Exiting the class. After the bell sounds, you will police the trash by your desk, I will then dismiss you, and at
that time, take your text book and place it back on the shelf, put you pencil back in the box and exit through
      the front door quietly.

3) Quieting the Class. When you see me raise my hand you will: 1) Freeze; 2) Turn and face me, pay attention
and keep your eyes on me; 3) Be ready for instruction and listen to what I have to say.

4) Asking questions or seeking assistance. You will raise your hand to ask questions, to request permission to
leave your desk for any reason, (ie. sharpening your pencil, throw trash away, to get materials, etc).

5) Warm-Up Work. Complete on notebook paper, work silently on your own, use your text book if you need, and
when finished, be ready for the next part of class. Your write your name on the top right hand corner of your
paper with last name, first name. Also you will have the date and period number underneath your name.

make an honest effort to understand, and ask sensible questions at an appropriate time.

7) Study time. Work quietly, concentrate on your own work, and raise your hand for questions. If you finish
early, occupy yourself quietly-read a book-do another lesson.

prompted. The homework will remain on the desk until collected by the teacher.

will have one chance to make up one assignment each 6 weeks

11) Sloppy Work. Will be returned for rewrite. If I am unable to read it, I am unable to grade it.

12) Passes. Only one student will be allowed to leave the class at a time. The student will have only 2 minutes
before name being placed on board and will also forfeit the 1 point daily grade. You will only get a maximum
of 2 passes per six weeks and must sign a “sign out” sheet.
