ONE OF THE PROBLEMS I COULD ENCOUNTER DURING MY PRODUCTION IS BAD WEATHER ON DAY OF SHOOTING WHEN I NEED TO
SHOOT OUTSIDE. THIS COULD LEAD TO DAMAGE OF THE EQUIPMENT WHICH COULD HOLD UP PRODUCTION AND EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE.
BAD WEATHER COULD ALSO LEAD TO BAD LIGHTING AND FOCUSING PROBLEMS. A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM IS TO CHECK WEATHER
NEWS AND APPS PRIOR TO THE DAY OF SHOOTING IN ORDER TO BE KNOWLEDGEABLE OF WHAT THE WEATHER IS GOING TO BE LIKE. IF
THE WEATHER DOES SUDDENLY TURNS BAD DURING THE DAY, I CAN RESCHEDULE FOR A BETTER DAY. IF POSSIBLE, I COULD ALSO FILM
SOME INDOOR SHOTS WHILE THE WEATHER IS CLEARING UP. A POTENTIAL PROBLEM TO THESE SOLUTIONS IS THAT THE WEATHER TURNS
BAD ON THE RESCHEDULED DAY WHICH COULD CAUSE MULTIPLE RESCHEDULING, CAUSING TIME TO BE WASTED. IF RESCHEDULING IS
NOT AN OPTION, I WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE POOR LIGHTING DECREASING THE QUALITY. IF NO INSIDE SHOTS NEED TO BE FILMED,
THE SHOOTING DAY WILL BE WASTED
ANOTHER PROBLEM I COULD HAVE TO DEAL WITH IS CAST AND CREW GETTING ILL OR INJURED IN THE MIDDLE OF PRODUCTION
MEANING THE CAST OR CREW CAN NO LONGER TAKE PART IN FILMING MY PRODUCT. IF THIS WOULD EVER TO HAPPEN, I WOULD HAVE A
BACKUP ACTOR OR CREW MEMBER IN CASE I NEED THEM TO REPLACE THE INJURED OR SICK CAST MEMBER. A POTENTIAL ISSUE WITH
THIS IS THAT I MIGHT HAVE TO RESHOOT SCENES AND SHOTS WITH THE NEW ACTOR IN ORDER FOR THE PROJECT TO MAKE SENSE. THIS
WOULD TAKE A LOT OF TIME.
ANOTHER PROBLEM I COULD POTENTIALLY FACE IS EQUIPMENT BREAKING DURING PRODUCTION. THIS COULD LEAD TO EQUIPMENT
BEING UNABLE TO USE. IF THE AUDIO EQUIPMENT IS NOT USEABLE, I COULD USE THE MICROPHONE ON THE CAMERA, HOWEVER, IT WILL
NOT BE AS GOOD OF QUALITY. IF THE EQUIPMENT DOES NOT WORK, I WILL HAVE TO BOOK OUT NEW EQUIPMENT. HOWEVER, ALL THE
KIT COULD BE FULLY BOOKED SO I AM UNABLE TO USE COLLEGE EQUIPMENT. IF I WAS ABLE TO REPLACE THE EQUIPMENT ON THE SAME
DAY, I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO RETRIEVE IT IN TIME DUE TO TRAVEL.

Sometimes when your vision gives way, objects in front
of you duplicate. I wanted to use this in my project. I
have used this technique before in previous projects but
only duplicated the object or person once so there were
two people. This time I want to duplicate twice so there
is people but the duplicates don't have full opacity. I did
this by duplicating the layer twice. With the top layer is
cropped it down to just the person in shot and moved
the clip to the right. I used the edge feather to try and
cut out any harsh lines. I then changed the opacity down.
I did the same with the next layer but moved the clip to
the left of the frame. The effect didn’t turn out as well as I
expected it. Even with the edge feather, there is clear
harsh lines still visable.
PRODUCTION EXPERIMENT: MAKEUP
• ONE OF THE SCENES IN MY FILM INVOLVES A HEAD WOUND.
IN ORDER TO USE THIS ELEMENT I HAD TO EXPERIMENT WITH
SPECIAL EFFECTS MAKEUP TO CREATE THE TYPE OF LOOK I
WANT. I CREATED THIS LOOK ON MY MODEL USING GLUE,
TISSUE, EYESHADOWS AND FAKE BLOOD. I THINK THIS LOOK
TURNED OUT PRETTY GOOD. THE CUT ITSELF LOOKS
REALISTIC. I THINK THE CUT IS A BIT TOO BIG AND I COULD
OF ADDED MORE BRUISING AROUND THE WOUND. THE
BLOOD IS ARCHING AROUND THE MODELS EYEBROW WHEN A
REAL WOUND WOULD BLEED STRAIGHT DOWN THE FACE.
OVERALL I DID WELL WITH THE EXPERIMENT AND LOOK
FORWARD TO RECREATING THIS ON DAY OF SHOOT AND
APPLYING THE CORRECTIONS I HAVE GIVEN MYSELF.
