“To be integrated is to feel secure, to feel connected.” The views and experi...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT: Although a significant amount of literature exists on Morocco's migration policies and their
successes and failures since their implementation in 2014, there is limited research on the integration of subSaharan African children into schools. This paperis part of a Ph.D. research project that aims to fill this gap. It
reports the main findings of a study conducted with migrant children enrolled in two public schools in Rabat,
Morocco, exploring how integration is defined by the children themselves and identifying the obstacles that they
have encountered thus far. The following paper uses an inductive approach and primarily focuses on the
relationships of children with their teachers and peers as a key aspect of integration for students with a migration
background. The study has led to several crucial findings. It emphasizes the significance of speaking Colloquial
Moroccan Arabic (Darija) and being part of a community for effective integration. Moreover, it reveals that the
use of Modern Standard Arabic as the language of instruction in schools is a source of frustration for students,
indicating the need for language policy reform. The study underlines the importanceof considering the
children‟s agency when being integrated into mainstream public schools.

Improving Workplace Safety Performance in Malaysian SMEs: The Role of Safety ...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT: In the Malaysian context, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) experience a significant
burden of workplace accidents. A consensus among scholars attributes a substantial portion of these incidents to
human factors, particularly unsafe behaviors. This study, conducted in Malaysia's northern region, specifically
targeted Safety and Health/Human Resource professionals within the manufacturing sector of SMEs. We
gathered a robust dataset comprising 107 responses through a meticulously designed self-administered
questionnaire. Employing advanced partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) techniques
with SmartPLS 3.2.9, we rigorously analyzed the data to scrutinize the intricate relationship between safety
behavior and safety performance. The research findings unequivocally underscore the palpable and
consequential impact of safety behavior variables, namely safety compliance and safety participation, on
improving safety performance indicators such as accidents, injuries, and property damages. These results
strongly validate research hypotheses. Consequently, this study highlights the pivotal significance of cultivating
safety behavior among employees, particularly in resource-constrained SME settings, as an essential step toward
enhancing workplace safety performance.

• My magazine will be focusing on the rap music genre
• I have chosen this genre as I personally enjoy this music and I feel there is a
range of artists and content I can include
• In North London many people listen to this is genre of music, so I will be
targeting a large audience therefore my magazine will be successful
• People that stereotypically listen to this genre of music are people that live
in urban areas so I will target in those areas
• For my form my magazine will be available in print old in shops and a
website (www.rapstar.co.uk).
• Our website is a great way to access my magazine as there are features
such as sneak peaks behind interviews, and a small trailer of the artist
performing.

5. Content
• My magazine will include Q&As
• Exclusive interviews inside the article about upcoming music, inside
scoops on other artists, the success of the genre, and general
information about the genre itself
• scannable links to three social media platforms (snapchat, Instagram,
twitter), as well as this a link to our website.
• Scannable QR code will feature so our readers can head straight over
to Spotify, with the top 20 hits of rap music.
• Pictures of artists in the rap genre to entice our readers into certain
artists further interesting them into the genre.
6. Target audience
• My primary target audience will be both genders (male and female)
• I want my magazine to be inclusive so it reaches as many audiences as possible therefore
becoming a success
• Aimed at the ages between 14-26 as this genre of music is becoming increasingly popular
with younger age groups due to the rise of promotion in social media.
• Any racial and ethnic group can listen to this music and enjoy my magazine
• I will target groups of the working class as I feel they can engage with the music as a lot
of the lyrics are about struggling and many rap artists come from working class
backgrounds
• Secondary target audience could target ages of 26 and over
• These are people that listened to this music when they were younger who want a sense
of nostalgia
• However to reach older audiences who might not be on social media or find easy to
reach online, print copies will be available in shops.
7. Resources and personnel
For my magazine I will need many resources in order to create the best magazine possible, this will consist
of:
Resources
• A digital camera to take photos of the artists at photoshoots. (my magazine will have photos to catch the eye
of readers so they know what artists are featured to urge them to buy it)
• Followed by a tripod and different type of lenses to get a desired image so photos look professional
• Next will be photo shoot equipment such as lighting, back drop.
• A computer in order to edit photos consisting of apps such as photoshop.
Personnel
• I will need a camera man to take the pictures
• An editor,
• Somebody to set up the venue we'll shoot at
• Models (the artist) to shoot for my front cover and double page spread
• Hair and makeup artist and costume for the model.
• Lastly we will need a publisher once my magazine is finished.
8. Distribution and marketing methods
• Synergy will be a vital part of my magazine as I will work with other people to create the best possible
product outcome, also to get across as many platforms as possible to promote and market my magazine.
• Social media is extremely popular amongst my target audience as teenagers today use it on a daily basis so
by placing adverts on platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, snapchat, twitter it would definitely gain their
attention.
• Social media also helps with keeping up with the newest trends so by using social media to market my
magazine they will be aware of the latest news.
• What’s also great is this marketing technique is free and easy to approach.
• To market to our secondary audience we could use billboards for those who don't use social media
frequently, however they are expensive so its something to look into for the future
• for our secondary target audience we can also market our magazine on radio
shows.
• For distribution a print copy will be available in shops and supermarkets in North London, for readers who
prefer a physical copy
• Additionally our website is available and possibly more convenient for those who don't want to carry round
a magazine, for example if they're out on a train or in a car.
9. Title of magazine
• I have chosen example 1 as I
feel it fits the rap aesthetic
the most.
• The harsh lines connote to
the harsh lyrics and culture of
rap music
• Examples 2 and 3 I feel have a
softer connotations which
arn’t the effect I want to
produce.
10. Font styles
• For my double page spread I
will be using Arial
• Its simple and easy to read
• I want my magazine to have a
feel of modern, trendy and
relaxation so my font won't be
too serious
• For my masthead I will be
using the font Stencilla
• I want it to symbolise
individuality of this genre and
the harsh lines between the
letters I feel represent that.
13. Competition
• As my magazine isn't well known there is competition
on the market, such as readers going for more well
known rap magazine (XXL and Hip Hop)
• This can be a huge threat as these magazines are sold
everywhere however my magazine is only sold in
North London
• People outside of North London cant by it therefore
there’s limited sales.
• However XXL magazine is priced at £5.99, whilst my
magazine is £3.50 which comes at an advantage as
my target audience are more likely to buy my
magazine as its more affordable.
14. Article ideas
• For my article I will include
• Q&A inside the interview with a chosen artist of the rap genre
• In this section I will ask: their opinion on other artists, what got
them into rap music, personnel information about them and
their childhood, upcoming albums and performances, (etc)
• On our online website there will be links that direct you
straight to our social media platforms. Enabling our readers to
further enjoy our magazine and the artists that feature
• If you buy a print copy we will provide a link to our website.
• My article will also include a link that takes you to Spotify
• Listening to the top 20 hits of rap music of that year
• Giving readers a chance to listen to other artists, further
exploring and enjoying that genre.
