6. Components description
Programmable Logic Controller :
PLC is programmable controller device use to controller any
system from remote area .
Photo Electric sensor:
A photoelectric sensor, or photo eye, is an equipment used to discover the distance, absence, or
presence of an object by using a light transmitter.
Relay Module:
An electrical device, which is activated by a current or
signal to open or close circuit.
7. Programmable Logic controller
Mitsubishi
I. Model: FX1S30MR
II. I/O : 30 I/O
III. Number of Inputs 16
IV. Number of outputs 14
V. Programming Language Used Ladder Logic
VI. 512 auxiliary relays, 64 timers, 32 counters, 256 data
registers
8. Components Description.
DC motor:
A DC motor is a class of electrical machines
that converts direct current electrical power into mechanical
power.
I. Speed: 100 rpm
II. Voltage : 12v DC
III. Power : 3 watt
IV. Current: 300mA
Wiper motor:
Gear motors used with conveyor belts that use a very low rotational output
speed to create incredible amounts of torque.
I. Speed: 30 rpm
II. Voltage: 12v DC
III. Current: 7 A
9. Components Description:
Conveyer Belt:
Conveyer is mechanism which will carry the car.
Water sprinkle :
It will use for showering the water and shampooing over the car
Water Pump:
It will Suck the water ,shampoo and it will spraying by water
sprinkle
10. Five Stages
1. Initial Stage
2. S1 (Working of Sensor one)
3. S2 (Working of Sensor Two)
4. S3 (Working of Sensor Three)
5. S4 (Working of Sensor Four)
11. Sensor ONE
Detect the car
Give signal to the PLC in form of 12 v
Stop the wiper Motor
Allow Pump ONE to sprinkle Shampoo and water
Allow to sprinkle for time frame given Limited time
delay
After the time delay the Wiper Motor start again and
convey the car to next stage
12. Sensor TWO
When the Car reach the Sensor 2 Detect
Stop the Wiper Motor
Allow the Brushes to cleaning through the rotation
With in time frame
After the Given Delay time the Wiper motor start
again and conveyer move the care one step Ahead
13. Sensor THREE
When the Car reach the Sensor 3 Detect
Stop the Wiper motor
Allow pump TWO to sprinkle clean water . For
washing
After given time the Wiper motor start again and
forward the car to next stage
14. Sensor Four
When the Car reach the Sensor 4 Detect it
Stop the wiper motor
Allow to ON dry fans
After the time frame the fan stop
Wiper motor start again and moving forward to
Ending Point
Done and system stop their all process
15. CAR WASH FLOW PROCESS

Less time requirement in operation
Less man power requirement
Pollution free
Easy to operate
Standards parts and components are easily available
Can be use in domestic service stations
Very less maintenance
22. TARGET AUDIENCE
Supermarkets & malls
GAS stations
Railway stations & Air ports
Hotels
Resorts
Theaters & universities
Public places & private companies
23. SWOT ANALYSIS
STRENTH
Fast services
Great quality service
Modern technology &
machine
Skilled worker
Easy access
Wash up to 50 cars per
hour
THREATS
Competitors
The biggest carwash
company from foreign
country is our
threat if they coming to
make business near by us.
OPPERTUNITIES
Busy car owners
WEAKNESS
Quite high cost for operation
A little high price from
competitors according to
our quality service and our
high technology equipment.
24. FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
Interior wash
Under chases wash
coin or token system
Also we can implement a counter which will be allowing the
number of cars washed to be counted
25. CONCLUSION
After Woking on this automatic car wash , we can came to
conclusion than such automation system are:
Quite beneficial
Saving time of operation
Man power reduced
Improving the economy of the system
In the future such type of automated
systems will have more demanded.
