  1. Thecardiovascular systemtransports blood to almost all of the body's tissues. The blood delivers essential nutrients and oxygen and removes wastes
  2. Ejection fractionis a measurement of the percentage of blood leaving your heart each time it contracts
  3. a flow with periodic variations is known aspulsatile flow, or asWomersley flow.
  4. Diastolic: It is the pressure that is exerted on the walls of the arteries when the heart is relaxed. 60 – 80 mmHg (adults) (Min.)Systolic: It measures the amount of pressure that blood exerts on arteries and vessels while the heart is beating. 90 – 120 mmHg (Max.)
  5. Differences in mean blood pressure are responsible for blood flow from one location to another in the circulation.
