innovative biological techniques to befit the
environmental flora and fauna.
This institute aims to create awareness regarding
the urgent need of environment maintenance and
trigger young minds
towards innovative upliftment
There exists various process towards sustainable
development of environment:
Bio-remediation of soil
Bio-degradation of hazardous wastes
Biological Sewage Treatment
Biological Flue gas treatment
Bio-fuel and biogas production from organic
waste
These processes employ different types of
indigenous potential microorganisms capable of
utilizing the carbon sources (pollutans).
The following strategies exist for the successful
intervention of microorganisms in these
processes:
In-situ :Bio-remediation, Biosparging, Bioventing,
Bioaugmentation
Ex-situ : Landfarming, Composting, Biopiles
Bioreactors : Slurry reactors, Aqueous reactors
Biopiles : ex-situ method
Windrows : ex-situ method
Innovative usage of these strategies along with
technological activity and means provided by
natural environment is the current need.
This institute’s objective is to stand in this gap
