Design, Innovation, and Prototyping of an Arduino -Based
Stair Climbing Surveillance Robot using Wireless Technology
→ Robots are increasingly being integrated into
working tasks to replace humans.

→ Later on, stair climbing mobile robots has been
developed for surveillance, exploration, and inspection
purposes.

→ Some are intended to traverse not only natural
terrains, but also artificial environments, including stairs
and ramps.

Design, Innovation, and Prototyping of an Arduino -Based
Stair Climbing Surveillance Robot using Wireless Technology
→ Traversing such urban obstacles has been a great
challenge and unavoidable difficulty to the improvement
of mobility and expansion of operational range of mobile
robots.
→ Nowadays, robotics is one of the most dynamic
fields of scientific researches.
→ During the last decades interest in studying climbing
and walking robots has been increased.
→ Today’s climbing and walking robots are already
capable of performing many tasks.

Design, Innovation, and Prototyping of an Arduino -Based
Stair Climbing Surveillance Robot using Wireless Technology
→ Today, due to technological advances of robotic
applications in human life, it is necessary to overcome
natural and virtual obstacles such as stairs which are the
most known obstacles to the motion of such robots.

→ One important area of robotics research is to enable
the robot to cope with its environment whether this is on
land, underwater, in the air, underground, or in space.

The study therefore seeks to address the following
questions:

① What design parameters should be considered in the
development of a stair-climbing mobile robot relative to its
     control functionality?

② What control parameters should be used to efficiently
navigate the stair-climbing mobile robot with respect to its
     input and output relationship?

The specific objectives are the following:

 To design an Arduino-based Stair-climbing robot in C-
    language.

 To develop a Stair-climbing robot that can be
    controlled in two different ways.

Design, Innovation, and Prototyping of an Arduino -Based
Stair Climbing Surveillance Robot using Wireless Technology
 To implement the established control concepts .

 To cater the needs of the academe in providing
    quality education.

 To execute preliminary experiment.
