withdoingitin thisway,mainlybecause Iamnot too confidentinmyabilitieswhenitcomes to
formattingitinPremierPro,andI thinkI will finditeasiertotalkaboutinpersonand expressitbetterin

Logos-
These were the final versionsof mylogos,Iwashappy withthe outcomesof these,andpersonallyidsay
theylookaestheticallypleasing.Astheyare twodifferentlogosbutobviouslypartof the same brand,I
thoughtit wasimportantto maintainconsistency.That’swhyIkeptthe designassimilaraspossible and
onlymade the necessarychangestoclearlyhighlighthow it’sapodcast anda differentproduct,butitis
still associatedwiththe original brand.
Aestheticsaside,the processwasquite easyandforonce I didn’tactuallyhave toask someone elseto
do itfor me as it was straightforward,evenforme.Iwouldn’trecommenddoingthe same foranyone
else,butIdidn’tfollowaplanor anythingotherthanjustthe basic shape of the logo.The restof itwas
justme playingaboutwithPhotoshopuntil IgotsomethingIwassatisfiedwith,tryingdifferentshades
of redand adjustingthe positioningof the logo/text/stars.
I usedthe ellipse tool tocreate acircle for the logo,andthenI usedanotherto make the white outline.
Withthe textIusedthe polygonal lassotool andcut the textinhalf,I thenhad twohalvesof text,andI
slightlymovedthemtocreate the effectwherethere isaline throughthe text.Thenonce Ihad done
that, as Ive alreadystated,Ijustsort of adjustedthe positingof thingsuntil Iwasfinallyhappywith
them.
Processof creating the website-

3. I founda setcanvas size fora website andusedthat.ThenI made the basic layoutbyusingrectangles
for the navigationmenu
the process of the editedimages inside the boxes was I did. "I found the image of Salah I wanted
from google. Once I had done this I duplicated the layer. On the duplicate layer I had created an
image adjustment layer, I selectedsolid colour and filleditin white and it created a link symbol on
the layer. I then placed this layer in between both the original layers. I then created a rectangle
using the rectangle tool and tiltedit to the side slightly.Following this, I placed the background
layer above this and then made a clipping mask. Doing this meant that as I moved the rectangle it
would reveal the segment of the image which was originally placed there. I then grouped the layer.
Once I had done this I had to duplicate multiple layers and in the end had over 10. I also added a
small white stroke over the rectangles to add a canvas style over the panels. I individuallywent into
each rectangle on the grouped layers and moved them into position to recreate the original image
in separate layers creating a panel effect on each one. Once the panels were in place I adjusted the
colour balance on each group.
Processfor animatingwebsite -
 I animated the website concept and created a drop down menu so that the
cursor would go over it and then I made it smaller on the animation as I tweened
it to give it a clicking effect over the match reports section. I then used the
website concept jpg in a new Photoshop document so the banner etc. stayed the
same, but extended the height of the document so it would fit the entire article.
The boarders of the page looked quite empty, so I added the boxes from the
original slide and their headings and placed them down the right to give it a more
authentic look, similar to what can be seen on the likes of the BBC sport website.
I then animated the screen by tweening the layers as if it was scrolling down the
article and also at quite a slow pace so people could easily read it. Once I had this
page ready I exported it and added both animations of the website and then
placed both animations into a Premier Pro file. I added the clips together to
complete the full animation and then I downloaded some background music as
well, I was not too happy with the background music but it needed to be there so
I stuck with it and it could have been worse. I also added a click sound effect for
added authenticity and placed it when the the article is clicked on the match
reports.
Process for the podcast -
For my podcast I obviously started off by recording it in the studio, using an audio
recorder, I then uploaded the footage to mac and began the editing process on Adobe
Audition.
I quickly realised that Id have to just make it a short trailer so the examiners didnt have
to sit there listening to 45 minutes of me moaning about football. I put myself through
that pain instead and then used the razor tool to cut the clips down and find short
snippets of clips which could be seen as interesting so that if there was an actual
podcast, people would be interested in listening to it.

4. Once I had all the clips together in order, I downloaded some music for an intro, I then
made that slowly fade out into the voice of ‘ you’re listening to the KopOnline podcast’
To make it sound even better I found intense music to quietly run through the
background, while also having a heartbeat effect playing after each clip for extra
dramatic effect.
Summary
In summary, I was actually quite happy with the products I made, I thought they were
aesthetically pleasing, and in terms of the website animation, I feel like I demonstrated
technical ability too. Also, considering id never used audacity before I was happy with
how the trailer turned out and the response I received from my friends around me.
