no doubt they are beauty of this world.

OVERCOME THIS PROBLEM :
 The factory act 1934
 The west Pakistan shops and establishment
ordinance 1969
 The employment of children act 1991
 The bonded labor system abolition act 1992
 The Punjab compulsory education act 1994

child labor countries
 More than 200 millions children
today are child labor
 About 120 million children are
engaged in hazardous work
 73 millions of these children are
below 10 years old
 Most children work on farms
brick kilns and little shops
 20 millions child labors are
employed in factories

9. Pakistan’s act
and laws
After the 18th Amendment to the
Constitution the subject “Labor” was
devolved to the provinces.
The Sindh Assembly on January 25
repealing The Employment of
Children Act 1991 unanimously
passed the Sindh Prevention of Child
Labor Act 2017 against employment
of children below the age of 14.
the assemblies of Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa in June 2016 and
Punjab in July 2016 repealing the Act
1991 had passed the Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa Prohibition of
Employment of Children Act,
2015 and the Punjab Restriction on
Employment of Children Act
2016 respectively.

 Child labor is an obstacle to the national progress.
 Child labor reduce the productive efficiency of worker in long run.
 Child labor reduces the enrollment of children in education sector.
 Illiteracy of the parents repeats circle again and again.
 the children's are addicted to drugs and narcotics.
 The inflation rate is increasing.
 No focus on the importance of family planing.

 What's being done in Pakistan to stop child labor?

12. Causes of child labor.
 Over population:
limited resources and more mouths to feed children are
employed in various form of work .
 Illiteracy :
illiterate parents do not realize the need of proper
physical emotional development of a child.
Many developing countries like Pakistan , India ,
Bangladesh etc. facing a huge problem of illiteracy. Lower
class people are mostly illiterate.

 Pakistan has allocated
only 2.3% of budget for
education which is 0.3%
than in 1999.

earn a little money at the
end of the day.

parents have taken.

education .
