Child labor is work that harms children physically, mentally, or morally by preventing their education. It is a major issue in developing countries like Pakistan where over 158 million children aged 5-15 work. In Pakistan, child labor is most prominent in Punjab, KPK, Balochistan, and Sindh due to factors like overpopulation, poverty, illiteracy, urbanization, unemployment, and failure to enforce laws against it. Preventive measures include free education, awareness programs, mid-day meals, strict enforcement of laws, and punishment for those exploiting children.

 According to united nations international Childrens emergency
funds .(UNICEF) there are approximately 158 millions of
Childrens age 5 to 15 working as child labor worldwide.
