Who we are
Established in the August of 2010, PrEquate is a management consulting and execution firm formed by 3
Chartered accountants, Pradyumna Nag, Rakesh Bordia and Rishabh Jain.
The local knowledge of practises in small and medium businesses as well as the experience from the best
consulting firms in the world enables the company to add value to small and medium businesses in the
manner that large consulting firms are able to add to the large scale industries.
The association brings together the experience and vantage in the fields of Assurance, ERP Implementation,
Merger accounting, Management accounting, Management consulting, Risk management, Transaction
accounting and Taxation.

What we do
The major problem that SMEs encounter while using the services of professionals is the fact that they are not
fully able to absorb the value of the professional services. Another problem is simply, Execution. The value of
the services is greatly diminished when the advice is not implementable or not executed in the end.
What makes PrEquate special,
is that the company is able to marry the ground realities of business carried on by the small and medium
businesses with the professional advice that larger consulting firms are able to provide to their clientele.
This makes execution plans more realistic, accurate and achievable. While larger consulting companies
focus on a suggestive model to professional services, PrEquate works on an executive model. Linking
execution plans into strategic advice that clients are able to formulate makes the difference between results
and attempts. For an SME, this could make all the difference as they require assistance not only in the
planning, but also the execution of the advisory services that they have availed.
Further, SMEs are often forced to look at professional services as a cost centre addition rather than a Profit
centre contribution.

PrEquate works on a slightly different model. Their approach to consulting is more a participative and
inclusive approach than a fee based structure that all other consulting enterprises provide. This makes

What we do
Even great professional advice in the possession of SMEs, even though implementable, may become redundant
in the absence of proper partnering in the actual execution. Lack of association and geographical restrictions
may be a major hindrance when it comes to looking at growth across the country or the world.
Locationwise,
Currently based out of Bengaluru, India, they perform major portion of the advisory functions from
Karnataka itself. However, PrEquate unique operational model enables us to have presence across many
other states through associations and liaisons. Currently, these associations are spread across 4 states and
spans across industries from IT/ITes to Real Estate.

Who constitute our Core Team
PRADYUMNA NAG
After working with KPMG, one among the largest 4 Assurance and Consulting firms in the world, he is now
leveraging his experience of ‘how stuff works’ to provide guidance to small and medium businesses to help them
StartUp, ScaleUp and SizeUp. His experience has taken him through a wide range of businesses – Software,
Consulting, NGO, Microfinance advisory, Merger Accounting, ERP Implementation and organisational training. His
strengths are mainly in the areas of Branding, Marketing, Organisational development and Strategy. In the
entrepreneurial past, he has been a founder of 2 start-ups which have ranged in nature of business and operational
models.
RAKESH BORDIA
With his experience from one of Bangalore’s largest Assurance firms Singhvi Dev & Unni, he brings into the plate
hands on experience of what ails small and medium businesses. With a developed understanding of the issues that
may come up in the planning and implementation of consulting advice to medium size businesses, he filters out
what is capable from what is possible. His strength is in the area of Costing, Financial analysis, Technical accounting
and Taxation. His gift is however, the ability to work effortlessly with numbers and give picture to numerical figures.
He handles the Execution and Delivery division of PrEquate.
Apart from this, he is also a National Level rank holder in the CA Qualification examinations. He is also pursuing his
Company Secretarial qualification.
RISHABH PAHARIYA
The ever optimist, Rishabh brings with him a solid foundation in Risk management and advisory from one of the
industry leaders in the field, Ernst & Young. A chartered accountant and a company secretary, he seamlessly merges
the theoretical with the practical. His experience has taken him across the economy, from IT to Construction and
from Publishing to Security solution providers. His area of expertise, however, is in solid straightforward execution.
His strengths mainly lie in the areas of Financial Analysis, Business modelling and Strategy. Once he is able to look
clearly at the objectives, he is hardwired to make it happen. This makes him a valuable asset to every organization
and to every assignment which PrEquate handles.
