a ‘nightingale’ could be anything/anyone to each individual.
So we will start the video off without any music playing. The audience will the see a few clips of an argument between the couple, the man walks off and she lies down. We then see her getting up, the music begins. She walks to a dance studio, looking down and angry. She gets into the dance studio then she shows all her emotions of what happened. It will be de-saturated, until she starts dancing, colour is brought back into the video. Then she stumbles and becomes de-staturated again.
The genre of our video will be a mix of narrative and studio work. We chose do to this as it allows us to be creative and clever with the shots, story and editing. The narrative will be between our main actor and the boyfriend. The audience will see a roughly 10 second clip of them arguing, and him walking away. The music will start with the next clip. (All this will be de-saturated) We will video her walking to the dance studio. Then the studio side of the video will start. We will see her dancing, stumbling but carrying on. Colour will begin to come back into the video, until she stumbles.
