Travelling to the location
of shoot
If in a car they could be
involved with an accident
The people travelling in
the car might end up with
cuts, severe injuries,
bruises, death
Make sure you follow all
street and road rules to
get everyone to the
location safely
2 5 10
Travelling to the shoot If walking on foot, you
could trip over and fall
To the person who trips
could end up with bruises,
concussion, grazing,
broken bones
Make sure you walk
carefully and on the
footpath
1 2 2
Carrying equipment Person could drop the
equipment and harm
themselves and may cause
harm to others around
them
Everyone involved in the
accident could break
bones, get a concussion,
bruises, broken/chipped
teeth
Make sure you don’t
overbear yourself with too
much to carry, share the
load with other people
2 3 6
Taking photo Equipment could
malfunction when setting
up
To the person setting up
the equipment: electric
shocks, slight string, small
pain, burn
Make sure you turn off all
appliances before setting
them up
2 2 4
Travelling around school When travelling you could
trip and all equipment
such as cameras etc. could
smash/break
To carrier: bruises, grazes
and scrapes
Make sure you leave
equipment on site at
shoot location to avoid
unnecessary damage
2 3 6
Interviewing People may intrude
because they don’t know
what is going on
No real effect Make sure a sign is put up
on the door so all
distractions can be avoided
whilst interviewing and no
interruptions can ruin the
recording.
3 1 3
Interviewing Interviewee might have a
health issue you may not
know about
To the rapper (depending
on if they have any
unknown health
conditions): loss of breath,
stuttering, coughing,
headaches
Ask the person if the have
any underlying health
issues or conditions such as
asthma or anxiety. These
are the things we should
know about so precautions
can be made.
2 4 8
Clearing up equipment Any liquids or food items
from lunch could be spilled
onto equipment causing
numerous issues
To anyone carrying the
equipment: electric shocks,
slips, bruises, scrapes
To prevent this, clean any
food and drink items from
desks then carry the
equipment.
1 3 3
Carrying equipment You could trip in the
corridors and cause harm
school students passing by
or teachers/staff
To students/teachers
/yourself: scrapes, bruises,
concussion, broken bones
Make sure you carry
equipment during lesson
times rather than break or
lunch to maximise space
whilst travelling through
corridors

Contingency
A few potential issues that could occur and strike us as a team along the way is some of the team might not bring
the correct equipment or forget it. This can be overcome by the team member going back to the location of
where the equipment is being held and collecting it and bringing it. This may delay the photoshoot by a few
minutes or hours. Another potential issue that could tie in with the first is that personnel may get ill and not be
available for the modelling shoot. To overcome this we will have personnel take Covid-19 tests just to ensure that
the workplace is safe and Covid is not spread. If personnel aren’t available then we could have a temporary worker
fulfil the place of the team member’s role and the shoot could go ahead. If too many personnel are off ill then the
shoot will be delayed and take place when the team are all better at some point before the deadline that the
client has given us. Another potential issue is that during the creation of the magazine we may run into a few
issues with Wi-Fi cutting out maybe. This isn’t a guarantee but again it could still occur and have a toll on people
saving work for the magazine etc. This could delay the work being sent off to the client by a few days whilst we
write up our ideas and explanations again. This can be avoided by the team saving there work every time they
make a change to it just so if they do lose the work by not saving, they won’t lose as much work as not saving at
all.
