2. Bonus Structures and Employee Morale
•
Bonus structures for managers and salon employees based on retail
sales, gross margin and staff productivity are a great way to reward
employees for a job well done.
•
In addition to these incentives, offering hair stylists the chance to
express their creativity and passion as artists would boost employee
morale and have a positive impact on productivity. Nothing is more
satisfying to an artist than bringing a vision to life.
3. Artistry in Print
One of the places stylists can see their work in print is in magazines such as Canadian
Hairdresser and Salon 52, and American Salon.
Being published in magazines and other high profile publications creates exposure for
both the artist and the salon and the photos could be used for other business-building
and marketing initiatives.
4. Company-wide Storyboard Competition
Premier Salons could pair with a brand such as Paul Mitchell or TIGI to host a
company-wide competition
•
Makeover challenge – Stylists would be asked to showcase their skills by
using a newly released line of products on clients and send in their before
and after pictures
OR
•

theme, hair colour, styles, wardrobe and accessories styling and 150
