The Offer

person, aged 16 to 24, to an
Apprenticeship
• £2,275 for employers who recruit a young
person, aged 16 to 24, to other vacancies
• Help to attract young Birmingham people
to your vacancies
• Support with choosing young talent to
meet your business needs

Eligibility criteria:
For Apprentices
• Aged 16 to 24, at least 1 Day unemployed
For Non-Apprentices
In one of the following groups
• Aged 16 to 18 (Not in Employment, Education or Training), at
least 1 Day unemployed
• Aged 18 to 24, 1 Day unemployed (claiming JSA/ESA/IS or UC*
Benefit) if living in Washwood Heath, Aston, Sparkbrook,
Bordesley Green, Lozells & East Handsworth, Nechells or Soho
wards
• Aged 18 to 24,at least 3 months unemployed (claiming JSA/ESA/IS
or UC* Benefit) if living outside the above-mentioned wards
(All new recruits would need to reside in a Birmingham Local Authority Post
Code, unless in the care of Birmingham City Council)
