The document provides a checklist and plan for a preliminary film task showing two people organizing a concert. It will open with the characters entering a corridor and walking through a door into a room while already in conversation. Seated at a table, they will continue talking while working, with the camera cutting between their faces following film techniques like the 180 degree rule and shot-reverse-shot. When one asks if the other printed tickets, the camera will show each character's eyes in extreme close up before broadening out again as the dialogue resumes.

For my preliminary task I will show two people having a conversation organising going to a concert,
discussing transport and timings. The scene will openshowing a corridor just as the two characters
enter facing the viewer, then the camera will cut to follow them from behind (panning) as they go
througha door(match on action).The twowillbe inthe middleof aconversationalreadyastheywalk
down the corridor and enter a room, sitting down at a table (two shot). Theywill get out books and
pens and start working while continuing talking (shot-reverse-shot, subjective point of view/over the
shoulder,180 degree rule).Whenone characterasksthe otherif theyhave printedtheirtickets,there
will be silence and the camera will show one characters eyes, then the other’s (extreme close up),
before the silence is broken and the shot broadens again as the dialogue continues (two shot).
