The filmmaker was able to capture most of the shots as originally planned on location. However, some shots had to be omitted due to time constraints, requiring script changes that disrupted the intended fluidity. Additionally, the audio quality was muffled and distorted. In the future, the filmmaker would allocate more time for reshoots if needed and focus on improving audio quality.

1. PRELIMINARY TASK EVALUTAION
WHAT WENT WELL?
During the course of filming my preliminary task, I had to go to different locations to
allow me to get the shots that I had originally imagined. Whilst on location we filmed
everything we need to film and I feel like they were produced to better standard than
I had expected. I feel like I incorporated the shot-reverse-shot, match on action and
the 180 degree rule well into my movie. I spent a while editing the jumping scene,
this is because I wanted the match on action to be as smooth as possible and look
fluid.

2. PRELIMINARY TASK EVALUTAION
WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE DIFFERENTLY?
Whilst we were on location, we didn’t get all of the shots that I wanted to get, this
meant that I had to change the original script and film on a different location. Out of
my whole video I feel like this is the biggest downfall as it ruins the whole fluidity of
the video and confuses the audience. If I had to do it again I would give myself
enough time to allow myself to re-film scenes that I wasn’t happy with. Also after
filming my clips I realised that I wasn’t happy with the audio as it was really muffled
and distorted. Apart from that I am happy with the overall look of my preliminary task.
