This study investigates the predictive influence of parental involvement on academic self-confidence and engagement among junior secondary school students in Awka, Nigeria, finding a high positive relationship between the two. Data was collected from 200 students using structured questionnaires, revealing that higher parental involvement correlates with greater academic self-confidence and academic engagement. The results suggest the need for government and school authorities to inform and educate parents about their significant role in their children's educational pursuits.
