Empowerment”.

• Adult Literacy Program
 TCS designed CBFL software .
 Available in 9 Indian and 3 foreign languages
Since inception, programme has reached 2,31,178 beneficiaries.

TCS’ CSR in India: Education….
 Sponsorships of Academic Technical Events in closed partner
institutes.
• TCS’ BPO Employability Program: In 2010, TCS initiated programme
for to train economically and socially disadvantaged candidates for
BPS jobs then absorb some of them.
• This Employability Training Programme comprises 80-100 hours
interactive content.
• 56,631 students trained with a cumulative reach of 16,676 SC/ST
youth in over 160 geographic locations. Over 3,626 of these trained
youth have found employment at TCS BPS.

• InsighT
• The program is designed to meet
the ISE, CBSE and state board
syllabus in India.
• InsighT seeks to promote team
building, leadership,
communication and
presentation skills, along with
technical skills.
• In 2014-15, InsighT was run in 36
schools reaching 2040 students.

• mKRISHI
• Enable farmers to receive
important information about
pesticides, fertilizers and soil and
water conservation.
• Provide critical micro-climate,
weather information in order to
plan farming operations.
• Facilitate better production and
cultivation practices.
TCS’ CSR in India: Health
• Empower
• Through Empower, TCS aims at building capabilities of its support
staff at various TCS offices and bridge the gap between service staff
and TCS associates.
• Modules of the training include acquiring basic communication
through English and other relevant soft skills.
• In FY15, 826 beneficiaries received training under the Empower
programme across 8 locations.

• 58,362 Volunteering hours.
• 57,90,604 Beneficiaries reached.
• Rs 51.39 crores social spend.

  • 3. Introduction • The guiding principle of TCS’ CSR programs is “Impact through Empowerment”. • Core areas are : Education, Health and Environment. • This is same across all geographies.

TCS’ CSR in India: Education • Adult Literacy Program  TCS designed CBFL software .  Available in 9 Indian and 3 foreign languages Since inception, programme has reached 2,31,178 beneficiaries. • Academic Interface Program Faculty Development Programmes. Student workshops Project Support and Internships Student Awards

TCS’ CSR in India: Education….  Sponsorships of Academic Technical Events in closed partner institutes. • TCS’ BPO Employability Program: In 2010, TCS initiated programme for to train economically and socially disadvantaged candidates for BPS jobs then absorb some of them. • This Employability Training Programme comprises 80-100 hours interactive content. • 56,631 students trained with a cumulative reach of 16,676 SC/ST youth in over 160 geographic locations. Over 3,626 of these trained youth have found employment at TCS BPS.

TCS’ CSR in India: Education…. • InsighT • The program is designed to meet the ISE, CBSE and state board syllabus in India. • InsighT seeks to promote team building, leadership, communication and presentation skills, along with technical skills. • In 2014-15, InsighT was run in 36 schools reaching 2040 students.

TCS’ CSR in India: Environment • mKRISHI • Enable farmers to receive important information about pesticides, fertilizers and soil and water conservation. • Provide critical micro-climate, weather information in order to plan farming operations. • Facilitate better production and cultivation practices.
  • 8. TCS’ CSR in India: Health • Empower • Through Empower, TCS aims at building capabilities of its support staff at various TCS offices and bridge the gap between service staff and TCS associates. • Modules of the training include acquiring basic communication through English and other relevant soft skills. • In FY15, 826 beneficiaries received training under the Empower programme across 8 locations.
