Something to remember:
The present progressive (PP) tense is used to
express action in actual progress at the
moment of speaking or writing. The action
may continue for a short time or for a long
period. Such adverbs as now, at present, this
time, these days, at this moment and today
may be used with the PP form.


1. The ladies of II-17 BSE ENGLISH are
preparing food to bring to the relief
operations. (They will prepare only for a short
time.)
2. The nation is working hard towards
prosperity. (This will take a long time.)
