The document discusses the power of Jesus Christ's resurrection. It begins by defining key terms like "resurrection" and "power" from the original Greek. It then explains that the purpose of the resurrection was not just forgiveness of sins but to justify believers and give them new spiritual life. By rising from the dead, Jesus became the "firstborn among many" and his resurrection made it possible for believers to be born again from death to life through faith in him. The consequences of the resurrection were that Jesus regained authority over all creation and believers can now share in his resurrected life through the new birth.

The season of the prophetic seventh day (1)Butch Yulo
The document discusses the Jewish millennial day theory, which interprets the seven days of creation in Genesis as prophesying the next 7,000 years of world history. Each "day" corresponds to 1,000 years. The text analyzes how events from biblical and church history line up with this theory. It suggests that the sixth millennium will end around 2028, marking the beginning of the seventh millennium or "millennial Sabbath rest" when Jesus will return to reign during the 1,000 year period prophesied in Revelation 20. While the exact timing is uncertain, the document argues the theory provides biblical evidence that Christ's second coming is near.
This document discusses how Christians have lost connection with God's appointed feast days and cycle of blessings outlined in the Old Testament. It argues that Satan has stolen this understanding by persuading Christians that the Old Testament is inferior or irrelevant. However, the New Testament valued the Old Testament and early Christians based their teachings and practices on it for decades before the New Testament was written. Reconnecting with the Old Testament feasts and cycle can help restore blessings intended by God.
The document discusses God's appointed calendar of feasts for the Israelites that was given in Leviticus 23. It notes that these feasts were not just holidays or rituals, but times set by God to meet with His people and for specific spiritual transactions and blessings. The three main feasts discussed are Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles. The document suggests that understanding and following God's calendar of appointed times can help believers break out of cycles of destruction and into cycles of blessing in their lives.
This document summarizes a Bible study on lessons that can be learned from Genesis 1. It explores various patterns and parallels between Genesis 1 and other biblical texts like the Gospel of John. The study examines Genesis 1 section by section, noting recurring phrases and the increasing complexity of God's creation. It draws comparisons between the physical creation in Genesis 1 and the spiritual creation accomplished through Christ and in believers. The overall purpose is to understand God's intention to fill the earth with His glory by creating both the physical and spiritual realms.
God's appointed time part 5 tabernacles acyButch Yulo
The document discusses the biblical Feast of Tabernacles. It begins with scripture passages about the feasts in the seventh month, including Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles. It then provides three main points about the feast: 1) Tabernacles celebrates God's glory dwelling with his people, 2) It represents different tabernacles of God throughout history where his glory was manifest, and 3) The purpose of the feast is to experience and remember God's glory by dwelling in temporary shelters as the Israelites did when God led them from Egypt.
Eschatology: An Biblical Overview of the End TimesDexter Tagwireyi
The document provides an overview of eschatology, or the study of last things, from a Christian perspective. It discusses signs of the end times, the rapture of the church, the tribulation period, the second coming of Christ, the millennial kingdom, final judgment, and the new heaven and new earth. The author encourages prayerful and biblical study of eschatology, noting that it is considered elementary doctrine but also controversial. Key events include the rise of the Antichrist, great tribulation, and Christ's return to establish his eternal kingdom.
Updates and Scenarios on the Signs of the TimesButch Yulo
The document discusses signs of the times and events that refer to the second coming of Jesus and the end of the age. It explains that signs of the times refers to signs signaling Jesus' return and the transition from the old world to the new. Some key signs mentioned include natural signs like earthquakes, famines, and disturbances in the sun, moon, and stars. It also discusses political, spiritual, and moral signs to watch for, as well as the rise of the Antichrist and emergence of the 666 system. The document encourages readers to watch for these signs but not to set dates, and to stay ready at all times for Jesus' return.
This document provides an overview and analysis of key passages in Genesis and Matthew related to the seven-day creation week and Jesus' teachings on the Sabbath. It notes how each day of creation involved separation or distinction, and draws parallels between these acts of separation and gospel themes. It also summarizes Jesus' confrontation with the Pharisees over their corruption of the Sabbath, and his teaching that the sign of Jonah is the only sign that will be given to that generation.
The document presents biblical passages that provide testimony and evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It shares accounts of Jesus appearing to his disciples after his death, including appearances to Peter, the twelve disciples, more than 500 people at once, James, and the apostle Paul. The passages establish that Christ's resurrection was in accordance with scripture and witnessed by many who spread the good news of the gospel.
The Feast of Trumpets, also known as Yom Teruah or Rosh Hashanah, marks the Jewish New Year according to the biblical calendar. It commemorates the beginning of the fall harvest season and prophetically points to end times events in God's plan of salvation. The blowing of the trumpet on this feast is likened to the last trumpet that will sound at the rapture of the church, gathering believers to meet the returning Jesus in the air. The 100 trumpet blasts, with the final one longest, picture the trumpet blast announcing Christ's second coming to earth to establish his kingdom.
The document discusses the books of Daniel and Revelation and their purpose of revealing the character of Jesus Christ. It notes that Daniel's name means "God is my judge" and Revelation reveals Jesus Christ. Therefore, these books reveal who reflects Christ's character through the Holy Spirit by living according to the everlasting gospel.
The document then discusses the "sea of glass" mentioned in Revelation 15:2. It states this sea represents the ultimate triumph of God's saints over the beast (papal Rome), the beast's image (apostate Protestantism), the mark of the beast (Sunday worship decreed by the papacy), and the number of the beast's name. It claims the sea of glass symbolizes God's
The document outlines a plan to study the book of Revelation and understand the sequence of end-time events. It discusses the seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowl judgments described in Revelation. It argues that the rapture will occur after the sixth seal and before the seventh seal is opened, referring to passages in 1 Thessalonians and Revelation. The purpose is to understand the timing of the rapture in relation to the tribulation period and how believers can prepare.
The document discusses the biblical account of a man who gathered sticks on the Sabbath in Numbers 15:32-36 and was put to death by stoning. It examines the distinction made in the Old Testament between sins of ignorance, which were forgiven, and sins of presumption done with full knowledge, which were punished. It argues that the command to stone Sabbath breakers still applies today to Christians as the spiritual Israelites, not just the physical Israelites of the Old Testament. It cites several passages equating Jesus and his followers as the true Israelites and children of God.
The document provides a detailed summary of the key identifying characteristics of God's end-time church as described in Revelation 12. It notes that God's church will:
1. Emerge after 1,260 years of persecution in the wilderness.
2. Preach the everlasting gospel worldwide and three angel's messages about God's judgment, the fall of Babylon, and avoiding the mark of the beast.
3. Keep the commandments of God including the seventh-day Sabbath and have the gift of prophecy.
The document concludes that the only church that fits all seven identifying characteristics from Revelation 12 and 14 is the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church.
This document provides an overview and analysis of the seven letters from Jesus to the seven churches in Revelation chapters 2-3. It discusses the key messages and promises to the churches of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. Each church is said to represent a different era of church history. It encourages applying the lessons from these letters to the modern church.
This document discusses the importance of the current time as a prophetic season and "heightened prophetic alert" leading up to the blood red moons of 2014-2015. It emphasizes that this generation must determine its spiritual position and priorities. The document then discusses the concept of a "transition generation" that facilitates a change of seasons, comparing the generations of Joshua, David, and the 120 in Jerusalem. It argues that the current generation will transition in the second coming of Jesus Christ. The document analyzes biblical women like Eve, Mary and the bride of Christ who marked major spiritual seasons. It stresses the qualities like humility, prayer and sacrifice needed for an effective transition generation.
In 3 sentences:
Jesus told Peter that he would build his church upon the rock of Peter's confession that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. However, the church is actually built upon Christ himself as the cornerstone, not upon any man. The church began on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came and Jesus added the first converts to his kingdom/church, which he continues to build today by adding Christians to it.
The four horsemen represent four important time periods for God's people beginning with the New Testament church. They symbolize:
1) The successful early church (white horse)
2) Roman persecution of Christians (red horse)
3) Spiritual darkness and apostasy during the Middle Ages (black horse)
4) Martyrdom of Christians during the Dark Ages (pale horse).

It brings redemption, rescues believers from death, and offers eternal life. The resurrection gives believers hope and reminds them that even in trials, Christ walks with them and leads them to everlasting love. It concludes by stating that Easter celebrates the life and hope only Christ can bring through his resurrection, and that believers must choose whether to believe in or reject Jesus and his claims.
The song celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ and his victory over sin and death. It calls on the church to awaken from sin and rise with Christ through faith. 070813 The Risen Christ :The power in our christian faithterry5428
The document discusses the importance of faith in the risen Christ for Christians. It makes three key points:
1) Jesus was raised from the dead by God, demonstrating that he conquered death and lives eternally in heaven.
2) The disciples' faith in the risen Lord empowered them to withstand persecution and perform miracles.
3) For our faith in the risen Christ to be effective, we must actively practice and declare our faith each day through believing in miracles, living victoriously, and proclaiming our identity as righteous and redeemed in Christ.
1. The document discusses the Christian belief in resurrection of the body, noting that while our physical bodies deteriorate, Christians believe they will be resurrected and transformed when Christ returns.
2. It notes that death is certain for all humans as a result of sin, but Christians believe death is not the final word through Christ's victory over death.
3. At the resurrection, believers will be given new, imperishable bodies that are restored and perfected versions of their earthly bodies to enjoy eternal life without the presence of sin or death.
The document summarizes the Christian belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It states that Easter proves Jesus was not only a man but God, as it demonstrates his power over both death and sin. It provides several Bible verses that describe two resurrections - one for believers who will live eternally, and another for unbelievers who will face eternal damnation. The resurrection process is described as having three parts: Christ as the firstfruits, a rapture and resurrection of believers at His return, and a final resurrection and rapture of tribulation saints after Christ's second coming.
This document discusses biblical numbers and events from 2014-2018 related to the end times. It aims to confront whether calculating dates of end time events is biblical and determine if evidence shows the imminent coming of the Tribulation period. The document outlines what will happen during the Tribulation based on descriptions in Revelation, including the seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls. It also summarizes Jesus' description of the Tribulation in Matthew 24 and references Daniel 9 for clues about its timing.
The document discusses the three angels' messages of Revelation 14. It explains that the messages are linked and deal with restoring truth on key doctrines that had been corrupted, such as the everlasting gospel, the judgment hour, and avoiding the mark of the beast. The first angel's message in particular focuses on preaching the pure everlasting gospel worldwide and proclaiming that the hour of God's judgment has come, calling people to worship the Creator. These messages contain vital warnings for the last days.
Suffering is the necessity of the Christian life. Perseverance is a characteristic of a true believer. Christians must anticipate that the world will fight against the implementation of God's Kingdom on earth. Why? Because what the world, sin within mankind ans Satan value is the 180 degrees opposite of the Kingdom of God.
This document discusses the identity of Jesus Christ. It provides biblical passages showing that Jesus is God based on his use of the phrase "I am" and his relationship with God the Father. It argues that Jesus was not crucified on Good Friday but instead on a Wednesday based on an analysis of biblical accounts of Jesus' last days and Jewish calendar traditions. The document aims to correct misunderstandings and traditions not supported by scripture.
04. What is the Plan of Salvation Notes (A4 sized)William Anderson
These are the notes from the fourth teaching in the "Growing Deep in the Gospel" series which answers the question "What is the Plan of Salvation?". They are paper size A4 (Europe)
The document discusses 8 raptures that are mentioned in the Bible. It provides biblical references for the raptures of Enoch, Moses, Elijah, Jesus, the church, two witnesses, tribulation saints, and the final rapture when all people will be given to God. It then examines what is known and unknown about the rapture of the church from passages in 1 Thessalonians and 1 Corinthians. It proposes that the dead will rise first to reunite with glorified bodies, then the living will be instantly changed at the last trumpet blast during the rapture event.
The document provides an overview of the book of Acts from a Foundations course. It discusses key aspects of Acts including its author (Luke), purpose, and outline. It summarizes the main points of several chapters in Acts, including chapters 1, 2, and 3. Chapter 1 discusses Jesus' post-resurrection appearances and the coming of the Holy Spirit. Chapter 2 describes the day of Pentecost and Peter's message. Chapter 3 focuses on a healing miracle performed by Peter and John at the temple.
The document summarizes key aspects of Christianity:
1. It outlines the basic story of Jesus' life, death, resurrection, ascension, and second coming.
2. It discusses how God's promises to Israel are fulfilled in Jesus the Messiah, and how the church is called to continue God's work.
3. It presents a biblical worldview centered on God's kingdom established through Jesus and the church's mission to spread God's light.
The document discusses the origins and history of life according to biblical scripture. It notes that Genesis says God formed man from dust and breathed the breath of life into him, making man a living soul. It was then that man sinned and died, because the wages of sin is death. Jesus was subsequently sent to remedy this by providing freedom from sin. His victory over sin destroyed death's power or sting to kill. Through faith in Christ, believers are made free from the law of sin and death and are now under the law of the Spirit of life.
This document provides commentary on a Sunday school lesson about Philippians 3:20-21. It discusses how Christ will transform believers' bodies at His return to be like His glorious resurrected body. It references several Bible passages about the resurrection and glorified bodies. The document also describes the five crowns that believers can receive as rewards for faithful service - including the incorruptible crown and crown of rejoicing.
This document discusses the biblical cleansing of a leper and how it prophetically points to Jesus cleansing mankind from sin. It describes the ritual cleansing process outlined in Leviticus involving a priest, two birds, cedar wood, scarlet yarn, and hyssop. These elements symbolize Jesus' death and resurrection, the cross, his suffering, and faith. The document examines various passages that reference Jesus' suffering and relates specific wounds and bleeding to potential physical and spiritual healings they can bring.
1) John has a vision of Jesus while exiled on the island of Patmos. Jesus appears as a glorious figure surrounded by seven lampstands, which represent the seven churches.
2) Jesus instructs John to write down what he has seen - both a message to the seven churches about their present spiritual state, and future events that will take place.
3) The vision serves to remind believers that Jesus remains present among his people and churches, watching over them as the faithful witness, the ruler of all, and the one coming again in glory.
The document discusses Revelation 5:11-14, which describes all of heaven and earth erupting in worship of Jesus Christ. It notes that this passage reveals Jesus' universal exaltation through four elements: 1) the universal praise of angels in verse 11, 2) the universal multitude in verse 12, 3) the universal blessings in verse 13, and 4) the universal prostration in verse 14. The document suggests this passage portrays the beginning of a new age when Jesus assumes authority to enact God's plans for judgment and restoration of creation from the effects of sin.
The document discusses various Christian beliefs including the Apostles' Creed, creation and fall of man, Satan and the present evil age, Jesus and the kingdom of God, the second coming and resurrection. It also discusses eschatological views like the rapture, views of purgatory and paradise, and different perspectives on the nature of hell. Toward the end, it presents options for sponsoring children in orphan care centers in Kenya and South Africa.
04. What is the Plan of Salvation notes (Letter Sized)William Anderson
These are the notes from the fourth teaching in the "Growing Deep in the Gospel" series which answers the question "What is the Plan of Salvation?". They are paper size Letter (United States)
This document contains the notes from a Warriors Bible Study class on Sunday, March 26th, 2016. It includes:
- A list of prayer requests for over 20 people with various needs.
- Scripture passages about Jesus' suffering, death, and resurrection from the books of John, Isaiah, Luke and Acts.
- A discussion of what Jesus did during the 40 days after His resurrection, presenting proofs He was alive and speaking about God's kingdom.
- An explanation from 1 Corinthians 15 of why Christians should believe in the resurrection, as it is the heart of the gospel message and Jesus presented many convincing proofs after His death.
This document contains notes from a seminar on the concept of God's kingdom. It discusses what it means for Jesus to be Lord and how acknowledging Him as Lord is essential for salvation. Lordship requires allowing Jesus' opinions to control one's actions. Simply calling Him Lord is not enough; one must live according to His commands. Changing one's confession of Him as Lord is considered sinful. For God's blessings and protection, one must remain steadfast in allowing Jesus to be the master of one's life.
This document summarizes a seminar on the concept of God's kingdom. It defines key terms like jurisdiction and lordship. It explores what it means for Jesus to be Lord and how his followers should exercise service rather than lordship over others. The seminar discusses how understanding God's kingdom involves understanding God as King over all, and bearing the fruits of his kingdom values. Being chosen and appointed by God means going to bear lasting fruit in the different spheres of society.
The document discusses the concept of the kingdom and scepters. It provides background on basic concepts of God's kingdom as outlined by a prophet, including the king, territory, lordship, culture, constitution, keys, and citizenship. It then examines definitions of jurisdiction and what a scepter is etymologically. Different types of scepters are described that can confer leadership, anger, strength, and serve as keys to legitimize authority. Biblical passages are referenced to support these concepts.
The document discusses the concept of God's kingdom through discussing various biblical concepts:
1) It outlines the basic concept of God's kingdom according to Prophet Abu Bako which includes elements like the King, territory, lordship, culture, constitution, keys, citizenship, and law.
2) It discusses the concepts of jurisdiction, covenant, and how Christ redeemed believers from the curse of the law so that Gentiles could receive the blessing of Abraham through faith.
3) It examines passages about the covenant God made with Abraham and how through Abraham's offspring (Christ) all nations would be blessed.
The document discusses concepts related to God's kingdom, including:
1. Basic concepts of God's kingdom outlined by Prophet Abu Bako include the King, territory, lordship, culture, constitution, keys, citizenship, and law.
2. Words are like seeds that can produce either life or death, depending on what kind of seed is sown, and people are responsible for the seeds they sow with their words.
3. In God's kingdom, growth happens in stages like a seed developing into a plant, and believers must steward their growth from an initial seed state to full maturity and fruitfulness.
Jesus came to initiate a process of salvation that leads to life and peace. Staying only at the level of salvation is why many do not experience the full glory that comes from entering into life. Jesus came to provide both forgiveness of sins through salvation and eternal life through drawing near to God. Drawing near to God, which is determined by one's mindset, increases one's proximity to the source of life. A carnal mindset focused on worldly things leads to death, while a spiritual mindset focused on God's word through meditation leads to life, peace, fruitfulness and glorifying God.
The document discusses kingdom values or the "fruit of the Spirit" from Galatians 5:22-23. It provides definitions for each of the 9 values - love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. The values are part of the culture and concept of God's kingdom. Expressing these values means one will be fruitful and fail-proof according to God's definition.
This document discusses the concept of the kingdom. It begins by defining key terms like king, kingdom, lordship, and subjects. It explains that a kingdom involves a king with territory and subjects under his lordship. It then contrasts the concept of a kingdom with that of a state, noting some of the differences between rule by a king versus a democracy. The document emphasizes that true submission to the lordship of Christ is necessary to enter his kingdom, and it explores what subjection to the kingdom entails for believers.

am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful
labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not
know! 23I am torn between the two: I desire to
depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;
24but it is more necessary for you that I remain in
the body. 25Convinced of this, I know that I will
remain, and I will continue with all of you for your
progress and joy in the faith, 26so that through my
