This document discusses specific beliefs in the Kingdom of God in response to questions from a previous seminar. It begins by recapping the components of culture and what constitutes a kingdom. It then addresses questions about whether salvation means the soul and body are also born again (the spirit is born again but the soul and body must be renewed). • Original mandate was KING’DOM. Man (First Adam)
failed! Jesus came to restore that mandate. The
beginning of this journey to restoration is salvation but the
end is Kingdom
• Original mandate/commission:
Gen 1:28 KJV And God blessed them, and God said unto them:

• It takes an enablement/ability from GOD to be
fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it: and

• He gave this spirit a body i.e. a movable tent/tabernacle so man
could interact with physical matter

• When you sleep [what earthly people call death], it’s the real
you—your spirit—that goes back to heaven—not your body (i.e.

22. • QUESTION: When did the tent i.e. the human body receive
life?
• ANSWER: When GOD sent His spirit/breadth into it—Gen 2:7
• Joh 6:63 ESV It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help
at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life
• It is Spirit that gives life to dead (un-living) things such as a
dead body, a dead career, a dead marriage, a dead
friendship etc.
• When the real you—spirit—leaves earth suit, the real you
goes to its maker BUT the earth suit i.e. your body returns to
dust—meaning the source of life for earth suit—your body—is
spirit

23. • This is why worldly folk seek spirit mediums etc. for
life for their businesses, careers etc. but the evil
spirits breathed into their businesses can only kill,
steal and destroy—not build or give life (zoe)
• True life (Zoe) comes from Holy Spirit ALONE
• It is the Holy Spirit that is life. It is he who can give
life to your body career, family, business etc.—not
evil spirits
• The words that the King speaks [rhema] are Spirit
and Life

24. • The English language bears testimony that it is the Spirit
that gives life.
• Expire comes from 2 words: “Ex” which means “OUT” and
“spire” which means “SPIRIT”.
• Expired medicine is one where the Spirit has exited or
COME OUT (empty of the Spirit)
• Food is living when it is inspired or when the Spirit that
gives life is inside it.
• The earthen statue GOD formed in Gen 2:7 lived only
when God released the spirit into the earth suit—“and it
became a living soul”

25. • It’s the same in the NT. Only the Spirit gives life – See John
6:63
• For Jesus’ dead body to receive life, it took the Father
sending His Spirit back into the dead body on the 3rd day
Rom 8:11
• Death in scripture means the absence of life that the Spirit
gives
• As soon as Adam ate the forbidden fruit, he died—meaning
the real him died—Gen 2:17. After that he became the
walking dead
• Death is separation from the Spirit of GOD who is/gives Life
• Unbelievers are dead—the Spirit that gives life is not in them
• We too at one point were Dead in sins (Eph 2:1)

26. • QUESTION: We were dead in our sins (Eph 2:1). How did
we receive LIFE again?
• ANSWER: By having our spirits reborn with the seed of
GOD’s word which is spirit & life (1 Peter 1:23; John 6:63)
• QUESTION: How were we given life again?
• ANSWER: Through the introduction of God’s Spirit! It is
the SPIRIT which gives Life.
• QUESTION: How did the Spirit enter our spirits?
• ANSWER: By the introduction of His Word into our dead
spirits/hearts - 1 Peter 1:23
• His Word is Spirit & Life! When planted, it is watered and
it germinates

27. • When we vocalize the sinners prayer, this word of
GOD which is SPIRIT & LIFE (John 6:63) is planted
within our hearts/spirits (Pe 1:23-25) and germinates
and when given room, grows, permeates and
gives LIFE to our souls, bodies and everything that
this Life (zōē) contacts
• At inception i.e. new birth, only our spirit is Life but
our souls and bodies can also be quickened,
made alive.

28. BORN AGAIN PROCESS
1Pe 1:23-25 AMP
(23) You have been regenerated (born again), not from a
mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from one that is immortal
by the ever living and lasting Word of God.
(24) For all flesh (mankind) is like grass, and all its glory
(honor) like [the] flower of grass. The grass withers and the
flower drops off,
(25) But the Word of the Lord (divine instruction, the
Gospel) endures forever. And this Word is the good news
which was preached to you. [Isa. 40:6-9.]

29. • Mortal refers to that which is susceptible to
death—something not impacted by the life of
GOD
• V23: We are born again by the introduction into
our spirit/heart of a seed which is immortal or lives
forever and lasts forever
• That seed is called the Word of GOD
• V24 cf John 6:63 The body or flesh on it own has
no profit. It is like grass. When spirit is in grass, grass
is alive but when spirit come OUT of grass, grass
dies. So it is with human body

QUESTION: Why will your spirit live forever?
ANSWER: Because it was regenerated, born again,
reborn by the ever living and ever lasting Word of
God—vs 23,25

ANSWER: The part that is spirit because the seed

32. HOW ABOUT THE SOUL?
QUESTION: How did the soul come about?
ANSWER: And the LORD God formed man of the dust of
the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul. Gen 2:7
QUESTION: What is the soul?
ANSWER: Comprises mind, will, emotions, intellect
QUESTION: Was it renewed / reborn when my Spirit was
reborn?
ANSWER: NO. That is your responsibility

33. • Rom 12:2 KJV And be not conformed to this world: but
be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye
may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and
perfect, will of God.
• If your soul was renewed already, then you would not
have to be told to renew it.
• Secret to transformation is renewing your mind
• As a man thinketh, so he is. Change your thought life,
and you will change your life
• This is why we are instructed to take bad thoughts
captive. They pollute reality making us vulnerable

34. CHRISTIANITY IS LIKE GARDENING
• Men sow seed, men water but GOD gives growth or increase
1Co 3:6 KJV I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the
increase.
• It is your spirit/heart that receives the seed of the Word which is
SPIRIT—parable of the sower
• Depending on the condition of your heart, the yield can be:
Mat 13:8 KJV But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit,
some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold
• If the Word is planted in the Garden of your heart, the true you
will be the Word of GOD sent forth to accomplish a purpose.
1Co 6:17 KJV But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
• When allowed to flow/grow, this Life will produce life in your
soul and body

35. • The level of fruitfulness of GOD’s Word in us is
directly connected to the condition of our hearts
 Mat 13:8 KJV But other fell into good ground, and
brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some

Spirit = the real you
Soul = used to relate with the material world
Body = tent, vehicle
Which of these 3 demands your utmost attention?

36. • Heart is used interchangeably with spirit
Pro 4:23 AMP Keep and guard your heart with ALL
vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow
the springs of life.
QUESTION: What are the springs of life?
ANSWER: BDB defines springs as source (of life). Out of our
hearts issues the source of life! SELAH
NB: it doesn’t say, coming into our hearts but rather out of
it flow the springs of life. Take note!

38. HEAVEN ≠ KINGDOM OF GOD
• Heaven is a place or a domain
• King’dom is the dom’inion of a King over a dom’ain i.e.
(Jurisdiction: official power, a system, territory)
• Assuming Ghana was heaven (domain), being born in
Ghana to Ghanaian parents assures you citizenship
but that does not mean you can operate in the
dominion of its government over its domain
• Heaven is the place. Kingdom is the Government
(dominion) & its domain
• Being born again allows you to be saved but does not
assure you a place in the Government of the King

39. • The real Church is a government organ, not a
social club
• Mat 16:18 KJV And I say also unto thee, That thou
art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church;
and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
• Gates are where Kings of old sat to take
governmental decisions.
• What is translated church in Matt16:18 is actually
ekklēsia and it is GOD’s called out ones or GOD’s
assembly called out to deliberate and legislate on
issues

40. SALVATION (BORN AGAIN) VERSUS
ENTERING THE KINGDOM
Salvation allows us to see the Kingdom but not
to enter it. It is a beginning not the end.

41. SEEING IS DIFFERENT FROM ENTERING
• Being born again allows one to SEE
John 3:3 KJV Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I
say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot SEE
the kingdom of God.
• Being born of Water & Spirit allows one to ENTER
John 3:5 KJV Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot
ENTER into the kingdom of God.
• Notice two “borns”
• First is born again. Second is born of water and of the
Spirit

42. Rom 8:10-11 KJV And if Christ be in you, the body is dead
because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of
righteousness.
• Christ does not dwell in the unbeliever so this scripture
refers to born-again believers / Christians
• When you got born again, your spirit is what got born
again—not your body. The part of a person regenerated
at the new birth is the Spirit—not body or soul
• When you got born again, your mortal (short-lived,
perishable) body was dead because of sin
• Dragon does not have access to that which is life but it
has access to that which is dead because of sin

43. PROOF THAT OUR BODY IS DEAD BECAUSE
OF SIN? ROM 7:17-25 AMPLIFIED BIBLE
(17) However, it is no longer I who do the deed, but the sin [principle] which is at home in me and has
possession of me.
(18) For I know that nothing good dwells within me, that is, in my flesh. I can will what is right, but I cannot
perform it. [I have the intention and urge to do what is right, but no power to carry it out.]
(19) For I fail to practice the good deeds I desire to do, but the evil deeds that I do not desire to do are
what I am [ever] doing. [WHAT HIS SPIRIT WANT TO DO, HIS BODY DOES NOT]
(20) Now if I do what I do not desire to do, it is no longer I doing it [it is not myself that acts], but the sin
[principle] which dwells within me [fixed and operating in my soul].
(21) So I find it to be a law (rule of action of my being) that when I want to do what is right and good, evil is
ever present with me and I am subject to its insistent demands.
(22) For I endorse and delight in the Law of God in my inmost self [with my new nature]. [Ps. 1:2.]
(23) But I discern in my bodily members [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh] a different law (rule
of action) at war against the law of my mind (my reason) and making me a prisoner to the law of sin that
dwells in my bodily organs [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh].
(24) O unhappy and pitiable and wretched man that I am! Who will release and deliver me from [the
shackles of] this body of death?
(25) O thank God! [He will!] through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) our Lord! So then indeed I, of myself
with the mind and heart, serve the Law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

44. • Apostle Paul was born again and yet his flesh was
bound by the shackles of sin
• He stated, “sin which is at home in me and has
possession of me” → Body dead because of sin
• Apostle Paul endorse and delight in the Law of God in
his inmost self i.e. his spirit (new nature), but with the
flesh, he served the law of sin v22-23
• This was Rom 7 before he spoke about how the mortal
body can also be given life in Rom 8
• Christ was in him but his body was dead because of sin.
He sought deliverance from this death v24
• He described how to attain this deliverance in Rom 8:11

45. • QUESTION: When man disobeys GOD and falls, which
part of man causes the challenge?
• ANSWER: His body or soul—never his spirit
• 1Co 7:9 AMP But if they have not self-control (restraint of
their passions), they should marry. For it is better to marry
than to be aflame [with passion and tortured continually
with ungratified desire].
• Passions, desire, burning – all resident in the realm of the
soul and body—not spirit. Why? Spirit is Life. It is the spirit
which is born again. It cannot be subject to death
• Body is dead because of sin but Spirit is Life because of
righteousness

46. • Are our bodies therefore condemned to
death with no hope while our SPIRITS are
regenerated and ONE with GOD?
• NO! It is the Spirit which gives Life (Zoe) and
He can give Life to our short-lived, perishable
bodies
• We need the same Spirit that resurrected
Jesus’ body to resurrect ours also

(10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead
because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of
righteousness.
(11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up
Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that
raised up Christ from the dead shall also
quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that
dwelleth in you.

48. • The release of life from our Spirit by the Holy Spirit involves
us ALLOWING this to happen by focusing our minds on
the Spirit—Rom 8:6 NASB
• This is why:
i. we pray without ceasing [1Th 5:17]
ii. We take contrary thoughts, imaginations captive [2 Cor 10:5]
iii. Guard our hearts with all diligence [Pro 4:23]
iv. Speak to each other in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs
[Eph 5:19; Col 3:16]
• Without renewal of mind and staying our mind on the
Spirit, it is impossible to reap life and peace to the fullnest

49. • Why must we ALLOW? Can’t GOD just do it?
• The Holy Spirit is described like a dove. He will never force himself on
us—even if it is for our own good.
• Rev 3:20 AMP Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone
hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will
come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.
• Eating with Jesus is for our own good and yet he will never force
that on us. Before he enters our heart, we must:
i. hear
ii. listen
iii. heeds Jesus’ voice and
iv. opens the door

50. • It is the Spirit that gives life. The body profits
nothing
• He (the Spirit) is resident within our inmost being or
spirits
• But He wants out
• We must allow Him to flow from our inmost being
outwards into our world
• This takes brokenness and fellowship in the secret
place

56. • A few notes about “born”.
• There cannot be birth without a seed being introduced
into an egg
• When the egg germinates into a fetus, its covered by
amniotic fluid or water
• Amniotic fluid is commonly called a pregnant woman's
water or waters
• The baby drinks and expels this fluid. It fills them and
covers them at the same time
• One is born when this woman’s water breaks and the
baby ushers forth—similar to baptism by immersion

57. • This process of “born” can be likened to a Christian ritual
called baptism
• Baptism requires being immersed in water and breaking
forth out of the waters
• In baptism we identify with his death (death of the old
man) in immersion and we arise from the water,
identifying with his resurrection (birth of the new man).
• Jesus is the first-born among many brothers (Romans 8:29)
• To enter the Kingdom, we must be BORN of Water & Spirit
• What does this mean?

58. Born of Water & Spirit involves
1. Physical water baptism and its spiritual
significance
a) Physical water baptism: Immersion in water—dead to old
man; resurrect a new man in Christ. Identifying with Jesus’
death and resurrection. Do a study on the “new man”
2. Spiritual water baptism
a) GOD’s Word is likened to Water – Eph 5:26
b) Water cleanses and gives life
c) Being Immersed in the water of the Word, drinking it, being
flooded by it and exploding forth from it—born of the Word
3. Immersion in the Spirit—born of the Spirit,
controlled by the Spirit

59. • To be born of Water and the Spirit, you must allow
yourself to be flooded in and out with the Water (God’s
Word) & His Spirit—and like a baby in amniotic fluid, it
must become what you eat and poo—saturating every
bit of your being
• The source of this flood is in your inmost being—your spirit
• In truth the entire Kingdom is within you and it wants out
so it can affect your Jerusalem, Judea and ends of the
earth
• You must be born out of this Water and of the Spirit
• You need both to operate within the Kingdom

60. You have RIVERS within your heart/spirit—springs of Life
Joh 7:38-39

was not yet glorified.)
These rivers are enough to flood you. The Rivers is the
Holy Spirit

61. When immersed and born of the Water and the
Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead:
1. your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies will
be quickened, vitalized, made alive, given life
… From where? The scripture says, “… through
His Spirit Who dwells in you”—RIVERS
2. Your mind will be set on the things of the Spirit
and not the things of flesh i.e. the cares of the
world—resulting in life and peace - Rom 8:6

62. THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS COME UPON
YOU
• The KINGDOM and the Spirit is within us - Luke 17:21
QUESTION: When does the KINGDOM overflow [flow-over]
and come upon us?
ANSWER: When the finger of GOD i.e. the Holy Ghost gains
expression THROUGH (OUT OF) us—from our innermost
being to our soul and from our soul to our bodies and over
spilling upon us—touching whatever is around us
Its this overflow that soaked Paul's garments
We must Leak the same Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead

63. • We are encouraged to be CONTINUALLY filled with Holy
Ghost
• AN initial infilling is not sufficient
• As we flow out of our inmost being, we must
CONTINUALLY be re-filled
• Act 13:52 AMP And the disciples were CONTINUALLY
filled [throughout their souls] with joy and the Holy Spirit.

• The Kingdom can either be restricted/contained
within you or given room to impact your world

• ANSWER: The Spirit of Man is the candle—
not body or soul
• It is this candlestick that receives the oil or
anointing of God
• It is located in the belly and must flow out

• QUESTION: When do we receive
power/dominion?
• ANSWER: Act 1:8 KJV But ye shall receive POWER,
after that the Holy Ghost is come UPON you: and
ye shall be witnesses [proof producer] unto me
both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in
Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
• The Spirit gives LIFE. His resting UPON us also brings
POWER

• Before this he grew IN spirit but this UPON was another
level. This one is for demonstrating GOD’s Government

• It has come when we SEE the finger of GOD i.e. the
Holy Spirit in operation

74. QUESTION: What is POWER?
ANSWER: The Greek word is dunamis, which comes
from dunamai (where the word dynamite comes
from), and means force, miraculous and inherent
power, strength, ability, power residing in a thing by
virtue of its nature or which a person or thing exerts
and puts forth.
Power is also the dynamic ability to cause changes
QUESTION: When does one receive POWER?
ANSWER: When the Holy Ghost is come UPON you

• To CHANGE your current state, your life, move to
another level of operation in life, you need the
dynamic inherent miraculous ability to cause
changes
• To get this POWER, the Holy Spirit must come UPON
you
• There are no legal changes in life w/o HG UPON

• But you MUST make use of it or else it remains

• Being born again alone does not release the
Kingdom or its power
• There are born again people who die for a lack

• Study the death of Elisha—a great prophet of
GOD—who did not apply what he possessed to
heal himself

his spirit to resurrect the dead but he did not use
it to cure himself of the illness which led to his
death

• 2Ki 13:20 KJV And Elisha DIED, and they buried
him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the
land at the coming in of the year

• The power [inherent dynamic miraculous ability to
cause change] was not in heaven. It was in his bones
• QUESTION: Why did the same power not raise him up
from the sick bed?
• ANSWER: He did not make use of power within him.

• Christ, the Anointed One & His Anointing was not put in you
so you could keep Him caged. He wants OUT
• He must be released as RIVERS of living water—from your spirit
to your soul and to your body and eventually out of you into
your environment—Jerusalem, Judea and ends of the World
• This is what is means to continue being filled with the Holy
Spirit. We receive the power, life, kingdom within so we can
let it FLOW OUT
