The posterior parietal cortex integrates visual and somatosensory information to guide motor responses. It plays a role in attention during perception and memory retrieval. The posterior parietal cortex transforms sensory input into motor output and is crucial for attention during perception and mental representation of location. While less is known about the human posterior parietal cortex compared to monkeys, neuroimaging studies have begun to elucidate its functional distinctions and role in attention and memory.
Water scarcity nowadays is a big concern for farmers and with this growing population of our country agriculture becomes a serious and main problem that our framers are facing today. The main objective of the project is providing automatic irrigation system that switches a motor pump ONOFF by sensing moisture content of the soil through application of Internet of Things (IOT). Human intervention can be reduced by proper method of irrigation. The project consists of Arduino microcontroller and sensor, where Arduino microcontroller is programmed to receive the input signal of varying moisture condition of the soil through sensor. Once the controller receives these signal, the output then relay on operating the water pump. The sensing arrangement is made up of two metallic rods inserted to the agriculture field which is required to be controlled. The study of the functional areas of our brain is important to understand the functions of left and right segments. Right brain activation is essential to be more creative
The human brain is one of the most complicated objects in the universe. Although it weighs less than 3 pounds, it manages everything from our heart rates to our thoughts and feelings. The functions of the brain are varied, and include: thinking, perception (sensing), emotion, signaling, and many of our physical functions. Our cognition, feelings and behavior are all the result of our brains.
The hippocampus is connected by the fornix and the perforant path.pdfarihantkitchenmart
The hippocampus is \"connected\" by the fornix and the perforant path to two areas of the brain
which are descriptively named. Identify these areas and indicate the derivation of the
nomenclature. Indicate the type of neural structure to which each is assigned (e.g. striate-cortex=
neocortex). What function is the hippocampus involved in? How might these connections
particularly help mediate this function? Briefly outline the direction of the connections. Describe
how the shape of the thalamus (diencephalon) and brainstem reflect the presence of impinging
cortical structures along the antero-posterior axis. Describe the difference between sheep and
human brains.
Solution
6.The two parts are the posterior part of hippocampus and and the presynaptic part of the
perforant path.
The hippocampus is defined as a a small organ. This organ is usually present within the brain\'s
medial temporal lobe. Moreover it usually forms a very important part of the limbic system. The
main function of this the region is to regulate emotions. It also plays a very important role in the
process of spatial navigation
.The following are the connections involved. The hippocampus is usually a banana-shaped
structure which is present within the temporal lobe and , The main input comes from the part
which is called adjacent entorhinal cortex and on the other hand the the majority of the output is
sent out through the region called as the subiculum.
7.The shape of thalamus and brainstem reflects the presence of impringing cortcial structures
along the antero-posterior axis becase these two usually involves the global cortical effects of
both theta and ripple oscillations. They also include the the anatomical pathways which helps to
link the hippocampus and midline thalamus .This includes the subiculum and entorhinal
cortex,.As a result it results in the functional connectivity between these networks during the
given oscillatory activity.
The difference between sheep and human brain is that a human brain has a rounded shape while
the sheep’s brain is usually elongated. Moreover The olfactory bulb which is present in both is
comparatively larger in the sheep’s brain and it is smaller in the human brain..

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

How to Split Bills in the Odoo 17 POS ModuleCeline George
Bills have a main role in point of sale procedure. It will help to track sales, handling payments and giving receipts to customers. Bill splitting also has an important role in POS. For example, If some friends come together for dinner and if they want to divide the bill then it is possible by POS bill splitting. This slide will show how to split bills in odoo 17 POS.
2. Role
• “The parietal lobe forms about 20% of the human cerebral
cortex and is divided into two major regions, the
somatosensory cortex and the posterior parietal cortex.”(2)
• “A primary function of posterior parietal cortex is the
integration of visuospatial and somatosensory information to
shape an appropriate motor response.” (1)
• “…attention is one of the cognitive functions that is
traditionally associated with posterior parietal regions…”(3)
• The posterior parietal cortex has long been known to be
crucial for attention during perception and mental
representation of location, but it was rarely, if ever, implicated
in memory retrieval. <…> The advent of functional
neuroimaging, however, showed clearly that the posterior
parietal cortex is often activated during memory retrieval.(3)
4. Limitations or what’s next
• Surface area of this region is 20 times larger in humans than in
macaque monkeys.(2)
• Although much less is known about human parietal cortex
than homologous monkey cortex, recent studies, employing
neuroimaging and neuropsychological methods, have begun
to elucidate increasingly fine-grained functional and structural
distinctions. (2)
• Functional imaging work has become increasingly
sophisticated over the past few years and the full power of
this method is yet to be realized in the exploration of human
parietal cortex.(2)
