2. Idea behind Film Poster I decided that for my poster I wanted to use the most iconic image from my teaser trailer. I therefore chose to use a photo of a swing as looking at my audience feedback, it is the most mentioned part of my trailer. These are some of the photos I took but didn’t use.

4. This was the photo I chose for my poster. I think it works well as it is central and I like the sky as it is quite atmospheric
5. This is the edited version of my photo. I have cropped the photo so that the green isn’t visible and more grey is. I have also changed the curves so that the contrast is greater and it’s a little darker.
6. I added the title of the film here as I think its works well with the horizontal line of the swing.
7. I added the tagline underneath the main title as I think it works well and adds a sense of mystery. The ‘Coming Soon’ also adds detail and creates a sense of anticipation. The name of the actor is featured at the top as I imagine that my actor is famous and well known so this will give people a reason to come and watch the film.
9. Second Draft I have made a few changes to my poster for my second draft. I have moved the ‘Keep both eyes open…’ down so it is easier to read. As the swing isn’t central and the chain on the right is at more of an angle, I have moved the chain and changed the angle so that the name of my actor can be central instead of slightly off center like it is in the first draft.
10. Third Draft In this draft I had added my icon for my film company. Looking at the existing posters I have noticed that they are usually included so I added my own to make it more authentic.
