This document describes experiments conducted using a visualization system to stream ultra-high resolution volumetric data from a visualization cluster to a tiled display in real-time. The system uses vl3 and group streaming to distribute the rendering load and composite the image across multiple nodes and GPUs. Experiment 1 showed that group streaming improves network bandwidth utilization. Experiment 2 showed that performance improves with more streams/compositors by increasing available bandwidth for compositing. The system demonstrated streaming 6144x3072 pixel images at 17.5 fps by using 24 streams, close to interactive rates.
