4. The Possessive Adjectives always go
before nouns and do not take articles
before them, they show:
• That something belongs to
someone.
There is my house.

more people.
He is my bother
• We put them before nouns.

6. • Possessive Pronouns replace
Possessive Adjectives + Noun, so
they are NEVER followed by Nouns.
Your bag is brown, but mine is black.

7. • They can be used as short answers
to questions starting with whose.
Whose is this ball?
It’s his.
• Note that is no possessive pronoun
for it.
