PORTFOLIO PROJECT
My name is Sarah Whittington. My major is nursing. I
am joyful, spiritual, and an intelligent woman.
FAVORITE DISCUSSIONS
 My favorite discussion was module 2. One reason this is my favorite
is because in this discussion, that when I realize my study patterns
and the flaws behind them. Dr. Chew mentioned many great points
and I completely connected with them.
 My second favorite was the community service project. At first, it
wasn’t my favorite thing because I was hard to find time in between
school and work to go volunteer but once I got to the animal shelter, I
had so much fun. It was great to see animals, despite their situation,
still be lively.
 My final favorite was module 4. I enjoyed this discussion because it
showed me different principles to studying more effectively and I
already have seen improvement in my habits after using these
techniques. Also, everyone seemed to really connect to what Dr.
Chew said and had much to say to each other.
• One journal I enjoyed was the first one, the self-assignments. I
found these intriguing because it told me things I did not realize
about myself and where there are some flaws in how I think. It was
cool to do it at the end also and see what progress I made throughout
the course.
• Another journal I liked was chapter 4. I was interesting to really think
about what I do daily and how much time I can spend on many
things. It also helped me realize how much I do certain things before
more important things such as homework.
• Chapter 6 journal was also a favorite of mine. I found it interesting
battling with myself to realize how inner guide and critic work within
yourself. It made me realize how much I really do progress out
everything to myself and all the outcomes.
The week I enjoyed the most was most likely week 7. I enjoyed going
back and redoing the self-assessment that we did in the beginning. It
showed my how much I have progressed and made me feel very proud
of myself for improving some of my scores.
LESSONS TO CARRY ON
 I learned how to study differently and more effectively in college
and I will continue taking in the new methods I learn this semester
further into my studies.
 This course also taught me how to be more confident in my work
and that I should take pride in everything I do.
 I learned how to be more dependent on myself and that my
emotions and behaviors will impact me for the rest of my life and it is
my choice on what I do.

GRAYSON LINK ASSIGNMENT
• Through this Grayson Link, I am said to be more investigative, social,
and artistic. I learned from this that I am more fit for more social,
outspoken jobs that have an emotional impact on somebody.
• A few careers that matched with this was interpreter or translator, as
well as a social worker for children and families or a health educator.
I have not thought of these as my future career but it was interesting
to read about them. The social worker job seems incredibly emotional
but it is impowering to know that a child or family is being helped.
The health educator goes around to communities and informs them
about different health problems and how they can be prevented.
VISUALIZATION
In my future, I have my bachelor of science in Nursing, making my
an RN. I would also have my own family, to support and guide me.
I would be working at a hospital, helping people because that is
my ultimate goal.
