Jennifer Hardcastle is an undergraduate student who is unsure of her major. Her personal affirmation is to not stress over things outside of her control and to live life. Her top three favorite class assignments were a goal setting assignment that taught her how to set goals, a service learning assignment where she volunteered and was introduced to healthcare work, and an assignment where she wrote a letter to future students about the course. Her favorite journals included ones where she planned her schedule, envisioned her future, and assessed her strengths and weaknesses. Her favorite course module involved volunteer work at a place she wanted to work, which helped her understand their operations. After graduating, she plans to improve her study habits, note taking skills, and ways to

2. Top three favorite class assignments
• DAAPs goal setting was one of my favorites because it gave me tips on how
to set goals and broke it down to where I could do it myself. It motivated
me to follow through with goals.
• Service learning was my next favorite assignment. I enjoyed going to heart
to heart and doing volunteer work. It helped me get introduced to that side
of the field and learn a little more about what they do. Over the next
couple of years I can go back and learn more and see if that is something I
want to do when I become a nurse.
• Letter to the next class would have to be next one the list, because I was
able to tell the next class what to expect and encourage them to take the
course so that they can receive the same benefit from the class that I got.

3. Favorite journals
• Journal 13 I like this journal because I was able to put down what
needed to be done at the time and break it down to what was more
important versus stuff that were important also, but could be done
after other things.
• Journal 11 because I was able to envision myself after school and how
it will feel and also help motivate me to reach that point so I can
actually feel it.
• Self assessment was another favorite of mine because I was able to
see what areas I need to improve on and what areas I was already
strong in.

4. Module 6
Module six would have to be my favorite section, because I was able to
go do volunteer work for a place that I have always wanted to work
since I became a CNA. It helped me get a clearer view of what they
actually do for patient and their families.

5. Future
• The first thing I will use is the things I learned to better improve my
study habits.
• The next thing would be note taking and finding the best way for you
to do say for each class.
• The final thing would be dealing with stress I will continue to do the
things I already do plus the new things the video showed us.

6. I feel that I improved quit a bit in the areas I was lacking in. I also feel that the areas
that I was already strong in that I learned different ways to approach different things.
I believe that I will further make changes to improve myself overall.
