to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.

of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land

- 2. Tab 1 21st Century Teaching and Learning • The word cloud should have been placed first to grab the attention of the reader. I want them to know what will be discussed throughout this website • I used a regular text format for the mission statement because the mission statement is an important aspect, and I would want that to be the highlight of that tab.
- 3. Tab 2 Diverse Classroom Learners and Technology • I chose to do an animation because I have never done one before, and it would be a different presenting tool to use in my class. After looking at the choices, I choose PowToon and it was very time consuming because it was new and there were things that I didn’t know, meaning the time limits and some of the pictures could only be used with paid subscription.
- 4. Tab 3 Lunch and Learn • For this tab, I used the SlideShare presentation tool, because I had never used it before and because of the transcript ability. I can share the slide and they would have the visible transcript as well without having to go through the presentation again.
- 5. Tab 4 Emerging Trends in Integrating Technology • When discussing trends, it was easier to use an infographic to share the researched information.
- 6. Tab 5 Legal and Ethical Issues • I used a google slide presentation to present my links because I used a regular text format for my editorial. Sometimes easier to read and straight to the point.
- 7. Tab 6 Leadership and Technology Integration • For the final tab, I used Slideshare because I can use Powerpoint and design how I like then upload, and I am familiar with this tool. I uploaded my toolkit presentation as a regular text format, and I chose to use a PowerPoint for my digital portfolio presentation because it was easy to use with adding voice.
