The funds were originally budgeted for GIS in the prior fiscal year but were not used. An RFP was issued and staff is ready to implement the GIS capabilities. The amendment would increase both revenues and expenditures in the general fund budget by $34,000.

Application of GIS in Modelling Landuse Changes Of Gurupavanapuri, Kerala, India
The Project Presentation focuses on the land use and land cover change pattern of Gurupavanapuri and environs, an area which is in the State of Kerala , India.
The work was mainly aimed to identify the rapid urbanization that took over in the Gurupavanapuri and its environs during the year 2002 and 2017 and on analysis there was a clear reduction of natural vegetated area due to the human influenced constructions.
The Project was completed using The ArcGis which is a GIS application. Remote Sensing data collection, such as SRTM DEM, ETOPO1 data (Bathymetry and Oceanic bedrock surface) has been achieved.

Indonesia needs affordable, clean base load energy that can be deployed quickly at a small scale and expanded rapidly. Molten salt reactors (MSRs) meet these criteria and have several safety and economic advantages over other nuclear reactor designs. Thorcon Power is developing a MSR called Thorcon that uses an inherently safe, passive cooling system and has multiple containment barriers. A 500MW prototype is planned for 2022 with commercial plants starting in 2025. The project aims to establish a reactor construction yard in Indonesia to build many plants and support the country's growing energy needs.

Power Grid Model
The global energy transition is placing new and unprecedented demands on Distribution System Operators (DSOs). Alongside upgrades to grid capacity, processes such as digitization, capacity optimization, and congestion management are becoming vital for delivering reliable services.
Power Grid Model is an open source project from Linux Foundation Energy and provides a calculation engine that is increasingly essential for DSOs. It offers a standards-based foundation enabling real-time power systems analysis, simulations of electrical power grids, and sophisticated what-if analysis. In addition, it enables in-depth studies and analysis of the electrical power grid’s behavior and performance. This comprehensive model incorporates essential factors such as power generation capacity, electrical losses, voltage levels, power flows, and system stability.
Power Grid Model is currently being applied in a wide variety of use cases, including grid planning, expansion, reliability, and congestion studies. It can also help in analyzing the impact of renewable energy integration, assessing the effects of disturbances or faults, and developing strategies for grid control and optimization.
