Brief:
To design a mixed use development to incorporate 50
residential apartments suitable for the modern family.
Development also required a residents car park, 3 large retail
units, a convenience store and 10 workspaces. Site adjacent to
Park Lane and Liver Street and opposite BA3 Theatre project.

Brief:
To design a workshop theatre on the outskirts of
the new Liverpool One development (opposite John
Lewis car park) The aim was to provide a bridge
between the urban and suburban environments
and to attract a younger audience to the theatre.

22. BA2 Nocturnal Wildlife Centre
Brief:
To design a Nocturnal Wildlife Visitor Centre comprising an
environmentally sustainable building integrated into a
sensitive site development proposal. The Centre will be used
during the day by families and the general public and during
the night by groups of researchers and enthusiasts who
study nocturnal wildlife.

Brief:
To create a Community Centre for the visually
impaired which would act as a gateway to
information, inspiration and entertainment,
offering an array of activities and events. The
centre required four major functions: information,
emotional support, relaxation and environment.

Brief:
To provide bat houses for the resident bats of
Sefton Park, Liverpool. The development had to be
accessible by the public during the day and suited
to the nocturnal habits of the bats.

Brief:
To investigate the artwork and mentality of a given
artist, in this case Brian Eno, and to use them as a
hypothetical client for a house on Hilbre Island. This
project focused on converting music into form via
expressionist painting.

To design a school for sub-aqua diving at The
Albert Dock, Liverpool. The project aimed to
bridge the gap between the old Albert Dock and
new developments and focused on the
programme of the diving process.
