MEANINGS?
Promoting environmental attitudes in
society.
PLANT A TREE
Trees filter the air we breathe by absorbing
the atmosphere of harmful substances for
us and carbon dioxide in the process of
photosynthesis in return giving us pure
oxygen. In addition, they protect the climate
and protect the soil from wind and water
erosion.
COLLECT WASTE PAPER
Waste paper is processed into the new
paper. Tons of paper mean up to 17 adults
notch trees! In addition to that, the trees
contribute to reduction of air pollution,
reduction of the contamination in the paper
production process and reduction of the
amount of water needed in its production.
COLLECT AND DISPOSE UNWANTED
GLASS INTO A SPECIAL CONTAINER.
Glass recycling consumes 21% less energy
than the production of new glass.
COLLECT ALUMINUM CANS AND
GIVE TO PURCHASE
Aluminum cans are entirely recyclable.
Recycling beverage cans, compared to the
production of aluminum, results in less air
pollution as much as 95%, water pollution by
97%, and less power consumption by 95%.
PICK UP TRASH
 If you notice today that someone throws
something away on the ground, say
something. Do not be ashamed to pay
attention - you're doing it for the good of
the whole Earth.
 Daily sort the trash out, save water, gas
and electricity and dispose of used
batteries into special containers and
receptacles for this purpose.
 During the lessons each class took garbage
bags, gloves and went with the teacher to
collect garbage around our school. We could
find a lot of interesting things. We did not
expect that people could dispose this trash
wherever they could. It is a shame for
society! Each of us is an inhabitant of this
planet and each of us should feel responsible
for its condition.
