The document provides branding and communication guidelines for centers implementing the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) skill development program in India from 2016-2020. It outlines standard branding elements that must be used at training centers, such as exterior signage, posters, and digital materials. The goal is to ensure a consistent brand identity and messaging about PMKVY across centers to effectively communicate the program's impact in transforming lives through skills training. Training partners must adhere to the guidelines and are encouraged to promote PMKVY on social media by sharing success stories. NSDC may modify the guidelines over time.
Robust Shape and Topology Optimization - Northwestern Altair
A robust shape and topology optimization (RSTO) approach with consideration of random field uncertainty in various sources such as loading, material properties, and geometry has been developed. The approach integrates the state-of-the-art level set methods for shape and topology optimization and the latest research development in design under uncertainty. To characterize the high-dimensional random-field uncertainty with a reduced set of random variables, the Karhunen-Loeve expansion is employed.

"Branding: An awful lot of nonsense gets talked about it and companies spend big bucks on stuff that really doesn't matter," says branding expert and TreeHugger contributor, Sami Grover.
Sami's here to show you that branding is not rocket science. It is a practical discipline that offers businesses and organizations the tools to communicate authentically, strategically and effectively with the audiences they want to reach.
Sami Grover of The Change Creation will provide you with the basic building blocks of an effective brand, and show how to put it all together into a coherent, engaging brand system.
By leveraging every point of contact with your audience, and crafting every message so it builds your identity as the messenger, effective branding means you spend less effort, less money, and fewer resources on marketing and outreach. Spend more time doing what you should be doing - running your business and changing the world.
Sami Grover is an environmental activist and co-creative director at The Change Creation, a creative team offering brand strategy and design for businesses and non-profits who make the world, better, fairer and less predictably corporate. Clients include Larry’s Beans, Canaan Fair Trade and Self-Help.
He is also a regular contributor to TreeHugger, where he writes on a broad range of topics including permaculture, sustainable food systems, the collaborative economy and clean energy, and TLC's Parentables where he muses on parenthood in an uncertain world.
Originally from England, he once vowed never to fly again - then he fell in love with someone on the other side of the Atlantic. He believes that adaptability is a prerequisite for sustainability.

Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

3. 01Introduction
We all want to tell the aspirational story of how Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana
(PMKVY) is transforming the lives of Indian youth through skill training and certification.
The tools presented here should enable us to do so more effectively.
Defined guidelines ensure a clear communication of the key messages with one voice and
as one brand. Without adherence to these guidelines, marketing and communication can
become diluted, lacking focus and impact.
PMKVY Training Centre (TCs) shall thereby abide by these guidelines and read them in
conjunction with the scheme’s monitoring guidelines.
The Guidelines contain the following sections:
• Exterior Centre Branding
• Reception Area Branding
• Waiting Area Branding
• Counselling & Placement Assistance Room Branding
• Classroom/ Lab Branding
• Catchment Area Promotional Branding Stickers
• Social Media Promotion
Training Partners (TPs) may undertake innovative approaches for the further promotion of
the Scheme. But the same shall be informed to NSDC prior roll out/implementation.
Open files of elements available on PMKVY official website (www.pmkvyofficial.org.)
NSDC has the right to modify these guidelines at any given point of time. Revised versions
shall be available on the PMKVY official website. For more information or assistance, email
pmkvy@nsdcindia.org.
